Mikel Arteta on whether he always saw former teammate Serge Gnabry as a wide player, or as a number 10 behind the striker: "It's true that playing wide he was very comfortable coming in because he dominated both feet. He was a 360 player for a winger, which is quite unusual to do, a little bit like Alex Chamberlain. They both have that kind of range and capacity and qualities to play in these spaces. I'm really happy for him personally, for what he's done over the last few years, the way he's developed himself, and what he's done in the game"

Mikel Arteta on whether Harry Kane is the ultimate test for central defenders right now: "They get tested a lot in the Premier League, and they have already done in the Champions League. I think what Harry is doing and has done in the last few years is just something else, another level, and that's the level they're going to have to face tomorrow"

Mikel Arteta on whether he's excited to face a Bayern side who will play on the front foot: "We know the kind of game that we're going to play. I think both teams are very clear on that, and we experienced that at the Emirates, and it's going to be a very similar one in many moments, especially as we have the level of connection and positiveness around the team. So I'm very excited about it"

Mikel Arteta on Vincent Kompany's health and whether his possible absence is an advantage: "I hope that he gets better soon. I hope that he is there tomorrow because it will be very good for the game that his presence is there. I'm a huge admirer of him, first as a person because I got to know him. I worked with him for a few years. Then what he's done as a coach, his career where he started at first level in Belgium, then at Burnley, and now what he's doing here. I think the identity and the quality that his team shows in the last few years is another level, and that's a big credit for him"

Mikel Arteta on whether Michael Olise's absence after his red card is an advantage for Arsenal: "I don't know. You want to face the best players in these kind of games, and he's out. But when you look at their squad and the starting possible 11 that they have, first of all, as a team, how incredibly well coached they are, the mindset that they have, the conviction that they have in every action. And then individual quality moments that they can create throughout the games when you look at the goals and chances that they generate. So that's the opposition that you want to be facing and we will be facing tomorrow and we're just going to confront that and go for it"

Mikel Arteta: "Really looking forward to the game. This is the stage, this is the kind of team, this is the kind of coach, this is the kind of club. A stadium that you want to be involved in. So we have prepared again with loads of enthusiasm and I'm very thrilled to come here and win the game tomorrow"

David Raya on Manuel Neuer: "I like every single thing about Manuel Neuer. he's a legend of the game. Even though he's still playing, what he's done and what he has achieved personally and collectively is remarkable. So I can only say good words about him. He's been a great goalkeeper and a great role model for a lot of young goalkeepers. When I was young, he was still playing, and I looked up to him, so it's just a pleasure to be sharing the pitch with him once again. Like you said, hopefully he can play, so we can see us again against each other. I'm really, really happy for him, and hopefully he's fit enough to play tomorrow"

David Raya on whether he looks forward to games where he can use his feet against Bayern's press: "I love it. I just love playing football and any type of game. You find enjoyment everywhere, but we know they press very high, they go man-to-man, and hopefully we can beat that press to put them under pressure and create those chances. So I enjoy playing no matter what game we are, but obviously when I'm playing with my feet, you can see that I enjoy it a little bit more"

David Raya on how he prepares for a striker like Harry Kane: "We prepare every game the same. We've played against the best strikers in the world in the league and the best strikers in the world in the Champions League, so we know what we have to do to keep him quiet. Personally, I've been doing my weekly training with the goalie coach, and we know their strengths. They're really, really, really good in short spaces, and obviously anyone can score. It's not just about focusing on Harry Kane, it's the whole team. So we've just been working very, very hard on the days that we had to work. I'm very, very confident that we're gonna do a good job tomorrow"

David Raya on Bayern's attempt to sign him a few years ago: "I'm not going to speak about what could happen or whatnot. At the end of the day, I chose to sign for Arsenal, which, with no disrespect to Bayern, it was just the negotiations that we had. But at the end of the day, I signed for Arsenal that year"

David Raya on Harry Kane: "We know how good Harry Kane is. I think his stats speak for themselves. He's a threat, not just in the box, going low and receiving the ball and being like another midfielder, another 10, to give assists as well. It's not just the goals, it's the assists and the way he reads the game. He's a great, great player and he's having a fantastic season as well. Like you said, he's nominated for the Ballon d'Or and we'll see who wins that as well"

David Raya on whether the game feels as big this early in the league phase: "We know every game is big. We know Bayern are incredible playing football, and we know how good they are. So it feels like a big game no matter what stage of the season we are at. The league phase is like this now. You get big games like tonight, you get Barcelona against PSG, so it's just so good to be playing in these games"

David Raya on what a result against Bayern would mean: "First of all, we heard that Vincent [Kompany] is not well, so we want to send a speedy recovery to him. Going to your question, obviously the most important thing is the 3 points. No matter where you play, who you play, you're playing against the best teams in Europe. So we're gonna go out there to try and get the 3 points"
