Most trainers can give you a program. That’s the easy part.
The harder part is knowing why you’re doing it, whether it’s working for you, and what to change when your body responds differently than expected.
That’s what I teach in the HIT List.
You’ll learn how to exercise as effectively, safely, and efficiently as possible; how to design your workouts and diet around your goals; and how to adjust them based on your individual response.
And when you’re not sure what to change, you can ask me directly.
I’ve been teaching and studying high intensity training professionally for more than 30 years, have multiple master-level training certifications, and have instructed tens of thousands of HIT workouts.
The HIT List gives you access to that experience for your own training.
Stop guessing about your training.

From the NPC Badger State Championships, last Saturday.
Nothing motivates you to stick to your diet like knowing you'll be standing on stage in posing trunks in front of hundreds of people being judged on your appearance 😁

Barbell squats, deadlifts, and bench press are a great exercises when done correctly, but there are other exercises and other equipment that can be used to effectively target the same muscle groups.
Unless you are a competitive lifter there are no lifts that you must do.

Today was a good day!
I had a great time competing in the Shredded Cheddar Productions Badger State Championships!
It was an honor to share the stage with so many great competitors. Everyone looked amazing, and the contest was well organized and ran smoothly.

A female friend complained my abs were partially covered in one of my recent posts, so here are a few ab and oblique shots from practice last week.
Ladies, I hope these work better for you 🤣

I remember seeing Sly Stallone in Rambo II when I was about 12 and deciding I was going to look like that someday. It’s only taken me about 40 years, but I think I got pretty close this weekend for the Shredded Cheddar Productions Badger State Championships.

It's almost time. One last upper body workout before I fly to Wisconsin for the NPC Badger State Championships.
What are you doing to improve yourself today?
What are you doing to help and encourage others to improve themselves?
The evidence for unique benefits of a carnivore diet is weak and there are plausible concerns about nutrient deficiencies and elevated LDL. Long-term safety is unestablished, so I don't recommend it.
This is especially relevant for bodybuilders, as higher carb intakes better support intense training, help keep muscles fuller and harder through greater glycogen storage, and appear to result in less fat gain during overfeeding than higher fat diets, with studies either favoring higher carbs or finding no significant difference.
