I’ve gotten one B in my entire life.
Graduated Georgia Tech with a 3.97/4.0 GPA with a bachelors in Computer Engineering and a minor in Artificial Intelligence.
I slept 8-10 hours a night, never pulled all all-nighter
Was the president of my fraternity
And worked out 5-6 times a week.
Ask Me Anything.
I took @Atrioc's job marketing NVIDIA broadcast
it's so funny seeing my face randomly on my TL
been really trying dot and want to like it
huge muse fan but have chatgpt connected to all of my devices, big fan of voice mode, overall power user of everything openAI
I am really struggling w dot. I feel like I have no visibility into what it’s doing in different threads, it doesn’t seem to listen or give the right updates on where threads are stuck or need permissions, and overall it seems much slower than muse AND worse at accomplishing what I ask
I have faith but so far I am disappointed
Safety or Speed is a false choice
Security and alignment is a frontier capability just like coding
The industry partners along with nvidia are pushing the frontier of what it means for AI to serve us
Today, with over 100 industry partners, we introduced the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform, bringing together OpenShell and Sentry.
Artificial intelligence is extraordinary technology that will advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity for generations to come.
But its full promise can only be realized when people have confidence that AI is being built to be safe and deployed with wisdom and responsibility.
This is bigger than a single product. It's the beginning of an open ecosystem to build the trust layer for safe agent systems.
Together, we are building the foundation of the AI economy.
Trust and innovation are not in conflict. Safety is how trust is earned. We must build not only the most capable AI, but the most trusted AI, so that this extraordinary technology can realize its enormous promise for the world. nvda.ws/4hcoq7m

$NVDA answered the pacing campaign with engineering, not a pause. NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform is two things.
1/ OpenShell: an open source runtime that sandboxes the agent at the kernel, uses formal methods to prove exactly what it can reach, and keeps real credentials out of the box.
2/ Sentry: a watchdog on BlueField-4 that reads the agent's reasoning from outside the host and quarantines it in milliseconds.
Anthropic, SpaceXAI, Scale, Salesforce, SAP, Red Hat, Microsoft, Dell, HPE, Lenovo and 100+ others are in.
I've said this is product safety: keep the circus animals in the tent during testing. In July, roughly 700 OpenAI eval agents wandered out of ExploitGym, ran 17,600 actions over a weekend and cracked Hugging Face production. Hugging Face is the company NVIDIA is now buying, and NVIDIA says, from what it knows, this stack would have stopped it if OpenAI had been running it in evals. Every breakout has the same pattern: the agent got around application-layer controls. That is a runtime problem, not a reason to slow the frontier. NVIDIA is putting the fence in silicon, and BlueField-4 is already in every Vera Rubin tray. It's a software switch.
Sentry only works if it can see the reasoning trace. Open models show everything. Closed labs show what they choose. Watch which labs let the trace through. That decides whether this is a fence or a suggestion.
Not in the release: OpenAI, Google and AWS. Codex is a supported harness; OpenAI isn't named as a partner. No production incident this has stopped yet, no date on Sentry, and OpenShell is a 0.1.0 that NVIDIA calls broadly available. The software is free because it pulls through Vera, BlueField and ConnectX. Somebody has to go first, and it's open.
This keeps agents from leaving the building. It does nothing about your IP leaving through the model API and the traces. That's confidential computing, and nobody is talking about it yet.
Thanks to Nvidia for their leadership here.
Replying to @JensenHuang
NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform Reference Design combines NVIDIA OpenShell and NVIDIA Sentry.
OpenShell is an open-source secure runtime that gives AI agents clear, enforceable boundaries. It traces their actions and enforces policy as they work.
NVIDIA Sentry delivers added layer of security with hardware-based enforcement on NVIDIA BlueField, continuously monitoring agent activity through a trusted telemetry and detection pipeline and enabling millisecond-scale containment and quarantine.

Two platforms can hold the same number of agents and still give those agents very different response speed. Headcount is the number an enterprise sizes a node by, and the per-agent decode rate is what its users feel, which is why @Signal_65 PINNACLE publishes the whole concurrency sweep and not just the ceiling.
MiniMax-M3 (@MiniMax_AI) from is the clearest case on the board. On one fully loaded 8-GPU node running an agentic workload, the @nvidia B300 and the @AMD Instinct MI355X both sustain 52 concurrent agents at the service level in our testing (every agent at 10 tokens per second or better) but the B300 is faster per agent at every rung on the way there.
➡️ 3.7x the per-agent decode rate at 8 agents, 67 against 18 tokens per second
➡️ 2.4x at 16 agents and 1.9x at 32
➡️ 1.4x at the shared ceiling of 52, 14 against 10 tokens per second
➡️ Past the ceiling the two curves part ways. The B300 drops, with per-agent decode halving and first token past 9 seconds at 64 agents, while the MI355X declines gently with first token flat at 0.2 seconds through 56
For a buyer that means the same headcount with a more responsive agent on the B300, and for AMD it means a competitive performance with the B300 at the ceiling on a serving stack that is still being tuned. Cost per correct task on each platform is the next post.

the models are all good enough it’s the form factor and speed preventing diffusion and meta is nailing it
my mom isn’t going to use codex computer use to make a dr appt, she will text her cute lil guy
data gravity for personal agents (muse, instinct, grok bot) is going to be the deepest rooted of any data we have seen to date
personal ai is having its moment and people aren’t going to use 10 of them… which is great for consumers because they are about to compete hard to win!
CEO of Salesforce: WE ARE ALL FOLLOWING YOU, BRO!
The answer is not to fear the future, but to guide it wisely!
@JensenHuang said this at a commencement speech this year while every other AI relevant commencement speech received boos due to the inability to read the room. Jensen brings wisdom because he has been in the industry for decades. He jokes that he has raised many of the industry leaders. No hysteria, no doomerism.
We will work prudently to make the world better AND safer. To lead or to be safe is a false choice.
It is not fair for the industry to fear monger the public which has no choice in the development.
I am a cautious optimist, and boy is the future bright. And every day I am grateful to have a front row seat at NVIDIA
imagine briefly a world where elections could not be bought and the average family could afford a home on one income
then reintroduce AI, what would happen?
Well, we had this with the internet, and it ushered in an incredible amount of wealth and “pause the internet” was not a salient argument despite the clear disruption of just about all daily life and jobs
another NVIDIA side quest today!
