Mrs. Theresa Whyte, Bath School librarian, took a group of 5th graders on a field trip to the Youth Author Spotlight. They met Jonathan Auxier, author of “Sweep:The Story of a Girl and Her Monster.”

A huge thank you to Mrs. Hrubik and her 5th gr daughter, Vera, for sharing all of their Ohio animal knowledge with us this week! We even got to see a real axolotl!! A great way to start our new science unit.

Our 3rd graders were treated to an assembly with performers from Apollo’s Fire! They were amazing. It was also a great introduction to string instruments for orchestra next year in 4th grade.

Gr. 5 Stress Less Day! A huge thank you to Mrs. Jen Hayes,from Afterlight Consulting, for showing our kids strategies for using their 5 senses while in nature to reduce stress and help manage anxiety. Our Bath Land Lab was the perfect setting for our stress less day.

Our 5th graders had an awesome time at Camp Christopher this week! They used the 3 C’s of cooperation, communication, and collaboration to complete challenges and work as a team.

Mrs. Macauda, our Bath counselor, is doing a relaxation in nature activity with our 3rd graders. They are loving the hammocks in The Nest in our Land Lab.

Congratulations to our Revere youth cheerleaders! Our 3rd and 4th graders came in 2nd place and our 5th graders came in 3rd place at their competition this weekend at Stow High School.

Congratulations to our September PBIS character winners. The students showed Responsibility throughout the month. They were all treated to a delicious donut with Mr. Wilson this morning!

Our 4th graders loved our visit with Dr. Roket, director of the U of A Field Station at Bath Nature Preserve and Ranger LaDonna from CVNP. They talked to our kids about biologists and what tools they use to work in the field.

Our 3rd graders are working with our friends from the Summit Co. Soil and Water Conservation District to learn about different types of soil. We even got to take and analyze soil samples from our Bath Land Lab!

Gr 5 Kidscript Writing Rally with Adam from Magical Theatre Co. We can’t wait to get started on our stories!!
