Today is our last day. It has been a wonderful 15 years in this library. So much learning, fun, laughter, and inspiration were experienced in this space. We close our doors forever today, but we will take our wild purple spirit to all the new adventures that await us. #gowild
Bateman students going to Nelson in September, do you have questions or concerns? Check your HDSB email for the Google Meet links to join (today) Session 2 at 1 pm or Session 3 at 3pm to learn more about Nelson and meet some awesome Nelson students.
Students, there is still time to vote for your Student Council representatives at Central and Nelson for the 2020/2021 school year! Check your HDSB email for the link. Voting closes at 11:55 p.m. tonight. Make your voice heard!
Joined Mrs. Grinton's and Mr. Parrott's IB Math classes today! Teaching a lesson about academic honesty to 26 little circles on a screen is a first for me, but we do our best. Our students are starting the process of writing their IB math internal assessments. #hdsbstillconnected
It's Mental Health Week. Make this month a Meaningful May. This #WellnessWednesday let someone you love know how much they mean to you. So simple, yet so meaningful. Be well and stay safe, Bateman.
When it's May the 4th and you have a Google Meet scheduled to review research and citation skills with a grade 11 class, you dress the part. Awesome! May the fourth be with you! @NeilPasricha #HDSBstillconnected
Our awesome students sent us a video. They always amaze us. We miss you, too. #hdsbstillconnected
Checking on my seedlings numerous times a day like an excited five year old. Awesome! @NeilPasricha #hdsbstillconnected
One of my four year old's JK assignments this week was to make an encouragement poster and display it in the window. Sometimes all we need are butterfly and flower stickers to make us happy, or a little girl's creation. #staypositive
Ramadan begins today for those in our Muslim community. It is a meaningful month of fasting, self-reflection, and charity. Ramadan Mubarak!
