El parque de Reina Sofía #LaLinea is jumping right now! Fab urban #flyway #Birding before farewells at #Gibraltar Airport for guests from @naturetrektours Encounters with Common #Redstarts and both European Pied and Spotted #Flycatchers - the park an ornithological gold mine and absolutely buzzing with migrant #Birds!

As we enter July many species are now in post-breeding mode and just beginning to leave their breeding sites and many will be heading for The #Straits to make their crossing onto sub-Saharan African wintering grounds! The first to arrive White #Storks and Black #Kites are already beginning and soon they will arrive in numbers and so the migratory dance will begin and we can't wait to show YOU this phenomenal event! There are still places available on many of our migration tours, so if that is your thing do get in touch! Among the noisy and animated Collared #Pratincole colony yesterday these striking #Birds are a bonus for any visiting #Birder at this time of the year but soon they will also depart! #FlywayBirding
