Excited to announce the 3rd edition of The Oxford Handbook of Cardiology is here. A huge effort from all editors, contributors and reviewers, updating over a decade's worth of advances in cardiology. Thank you to the OUP team for all your help getting this across the line! @OUPMedicine

Delighted to see our cardiac screening study published in @JACCJournals. Heartiest congratulations @maclachlan_h @MichaelPapadak2 @SSharmacardio and the entire team. Sincere thanks @CRY_UK & the families whose support makes this vital work possible.
104,369 young individuals screened. ⚠️ 280 life-threatening conditions detected. 41 percent received potentially life-saving interventions. Sudden cardiac death incidence is still 5.6 per 100k person-years. Are we doing enough? jacc.org/doi/10.1016/j.jacc.… @MichaelPapadak2
So proud of @louisecollier30 presenting her experience of setting up the heart failure specialist nurse in-reach service at @BucksHealthcare at the Oxford Heart Failure Specialist Day. This has had such an impact on patient care- proactive identification of patients, double the number of patients receiving specialist reviews, a huge uptick in the number of patients on guideline directed medical therapy and a 30% reduction in re-hospitalisation 👏👏👏👏
@JennyRicketts2. Special thanks to @Novartis and @MayooranShan for their involvement too!
