If you think club/travel Basketball will get you a full ride.. think again!! Not great odds. The coach that promised “exposure “ doesn’t change the numbers.. it’s been 1% for the last 30 years

“Travel “ basketball coaches.. can we please start looking the part?? Please.. NO Jeans, backpacks on, sun glasses, croc’s or filp flops, backwards hats, or headphones on while coaching a game!!

🔥 Take.. you could fix 2 major travel/AAU issues if you 100 % confirm age ( no hold backs or cheating) and if your team won a lower bracket.. they can’t play that division again!!

The problem is not too many “AAU” teams.. in my humble opinion it’s sandbagging. Teams/programs can play “down” winning a lower level tournament beating teams by 60 is not a good weekend.. but it’s now celebrated! Playing up..getting battle tested needs to come back soon!

We have a unbelievable group of young men and families!! Coach Ryan and Mac wanted to give a little something back!! We always thought “hoodies “ looked super cool. Thank you to all the families that support us!! We can’t do it without you!! Dream big!! @The_Bshaw @RodMacLean8

Catch on the hop.. get to the paint!!! Can’t do the hard part.. without doing the “easy” really good!!

Dreams “older “ group!! Kids and families buying in and getting better every time out!! We are having a blast!! See much room?? Me either!! Dream big!! @The_Bshaw @RodMacLean8

Defense Thursdays at Dream!! Yes.. we preach it weekly!!

Coaches.. we need to speak better to the kids we coach at the youth level!! Is it ok to call a 10, 11 or 12 year old a pu**y or they need to f**king play harder?? I was embarrassed by what I heard being spoken to kids!! We can do better and should!!

Got to love a kid playing 1 half 12U.. dominating.. then playing with the 13u in the 2nd half!! AAU at its finest!!

Special shout out to Coach Sharda for working our boys out last night!! Thanks for the love!! ( who is that kid in the picture.. little Mac!! ❤️) @The_Bshaw @RodMacLean8

Hot take.. kids leave your basketballs at home at tournaments!! There is plenty!! Do you really want Mom and Dad pissed at you on the ride home for losing another one!!

I think we figured out the winning formula for 12u. Great point guard play..diamond half court press in to a trapping 1-3-1 zone and at least 2 14 year olds on the team!! 😂

If you are around the greater 805 area ( Simi Valley ) please consider signing up for Summer Camp!! It will be ran by Simi Dream coaches Rod MacLean and Ryan Bradshaw!! I don’t guarantee much.. but I guarantee a great time here!! @The_Bshaw @RodMacLean8

Dream is getting after it on defense!! Every week..getting better!!

Simi Dream is off for Spring Break.. wishing all our families a safe and happy break and holiday!! Just an unbelievable year and we are just getting started!! Dream big!!

At least once a week.. ally drill!! In a stance, got a chance!!

Big day .. 5 on 0, 3-2 looked good!! We are getting there!!

There was a Jed Miller siting at Simi Dream practice today!! Legend!!! If you didn’t know..”Threes are better than twos “ JM

Jump to the ball!! Close out high hand!! No short cuts to good defense!!
