In view of our Chairman and other members who are either struggling with cancer or have lost loved ones to cancer, we are holding a Macmillan coffee morning on Saturday 30th September at the Green Centre Pitsea from 10.30am. Please join us to support this very important campaign.
Yesterday we attended the Basildon and Pitsea Carnival. We were joined by friends from our twin town Heiligenhaus, and ladies from Borodyanka Ukraine. After a rainy start, the sun shone and we all worked together and had another great Twinning afternoon. Thanks everyone ☺️
Very busy time for Twinning in Heiligenhaus, Germany at their Statdfest promoting Basildon. Thanks to all the volunteers who went along and gave their time to help. It was very tiring but also some important contacts and friendships made. Our thanks go to everyone involved.
Football tour to Heiligenhaus. With two of the UK lads falling ill, two of the German lads stepped up to play for the UK. The team ran out huge winners in the first game and narrowly lost the second 3-2. Very proud to have taken this team to represent Twinning.
Good luck to the students from Beauchamps High School @Beauchampssch who are on their way to Heiligenhaus for the annual football tournament.
We hope you enjoy the experience and make many new friends and contacts. Can't wait to hear how it goes. 👍
