As we all said, the hotel cannot and should not be used to house asylum seekers. It’s inhumane, it’s not a place you could call it home and it’s expensive. Companies like @mearsgroup making millions while people are in misery…

The Immigration Minister gave a statement today announcing the closure of 50 asylum hotels. His announcement confirms what we've always said – there was simply no reason why more than 50,000 men, women and children ever needed to be crammed into wholly unsuitable hotels. /1
