Let’s act like we didn’t see the fish towards the end of the video…😭
I made this ad video for @afromart_HQ , I told @N1Fredy I was going to after he shared what he was building
And it’s a brillant one so yeah, what do you think? 😅
Also please how did you guys hack African accent? Please share
Remember this tool?
This was supposed to be submitted for a hackathon, but God always has a way of doing things. That’s what I believe.
I never got to post it here on X, but people on my WhatsApp contacts have been thanking me for building it.
Honestly, it’s one of the tools I’m most proud of.
And now, I have another banger coming for micro-taskers. My people will benefit even more from this one.
So help us, God....
Prepared for another one-day hackathon.
This time, I actually submitted on time.
But I didn’t prepare enough for the demo. Two minutes felt way too short to show everything I built, and honestly… I still don’t know how to edit videos properly. 😭
So the results came out.
I didn’t win.
I thought that was the end of the story.
Then I decided to send the product to a founder and show them what I had built.
Guess what?
4 paying clients in less than 8 hours.
Maybe I didn’t win the hackathon.
But I think I won something better:
Proof that the product can actually sell.
Sometimes the market gives you a different result than the judges.
Ordered Beans and fresh fish from Mama Chidi.
Delivered in Port Harcourt. Paid in @USDC .
Payment released to the rider on delivery.
Total: ₦6,500. Settled in seconds, all from one chat.
No cards. No bank transfers. No FX middlemen.
This is what USDC on @arc looks like outside the crypto bubble: a real kitchen, a real rider, a real Nigerian street.
One of the things I did this year that I'm genuinely proud of.
Early this year, @EddyConsult and I were talking about opportunities, and he said something that got me intrigued.
I quote: “Look for a business around your area and try to invest, then see the results.”
It sounded like cruise at the time, but I took it seriously. 😂
Fast-forward to a few months ago.
There's this woman around my area who sells fruit salad. I've been buying from her for a while, so we weren't strangers.
One day, I decided to ask her how much she'd need to take her business to the next level and how much she was making.
Initially, she was skeptical, but she eventually opened up.
I asked how much she could give me monthly as returns if I invested in her business. She told me an amount, and honestly, I didn't negotiate or try to bring it down.
I asked for her account number, supposedly to pay for the fruit salad I'd just bought, and sent her the money. 😂
The tears, the happiness, the emotions... it was something else.
Fast-forward to the first month she was supposed to pay me my returns. I was surprised when she sent me more than we had agreed.
I didn't collect it.
I told her to keep the money and reinvest it into the business.
In fact, I stopped buying directly from her because she became uncomfortable collecting money from me whenever I wanted to buy fruit salad.
But here's the part that gets me emotional.
Her business is doing well. I've received nothing for myself from the investment so far, but seeing the business grow and knowing that I played a part in it makes me genuinely happy.
And now, I can confidently say that I've helped make a whole family whole again.
I'm literally crying as I type this. 😂😭
Sometimes, you don't need millions to make a difference in someone's life. Sometimes, all it takes is seeing an opportunity, trusting someone, and deciding to help.
I might not be where I want to be yet, but one thing is certain: I won't quit, and I'll always try.
Thank you, @EddyConsult, for that little piece of advice. You probably didn't know how far it would go, but it went further than you imagined.
And I believe there's so much more good to come.
Today, we sealed a partnership with a major logistics company looking to lead the import pool on Arcle.
We're building Arcle to make money and business operations work differently, and partnerships like this bring us closer to that vision.
We're just getting started.
I’m genuinely grateful for the connections I’ve made over the past few months.
A lot of the opportunities, rooms, and access I have today are things I honestly wouldn’t have imagined getting this quickly.
And I owe a lot of that to the people I’ve been able to genuinely help along the way. It’s amazing how much comes back around when you help people without expecting anything in return.
God bless you all. ❤️
And don’t forget about @ArcleAI 👀
A lot of things are coming soon. We’re just getting started.
