Category: Offense
Winner: Brewers
Both teams throughout the regular season carry the same archetype when it comes to offense, which is putting the ball in play and driving in runs. Both teams in the regular season were bottom 10 and HRs, but tied in 1st in team batting average in the regular season. The team that makes the opponents defense work the most, will probably have the upper hand in the series with overwhelming contact.
The Rays, although having a very strong contact archetype, are led by a three headed monster in Yandy Díaz, Jonathan Aranda, and Junior Caminero who can slug. They have other guys in the middle and the bottom of the lineup that can produce as well such as Liam Hicks, Chandler Simpson, and Richie Palacios who’s had a great postseason.
But in my opinion, I believe that the Brewers have more depth towards the middle and bottom of the order that have played exceptionally well in October and will continue in the World Series. Led by Jackson Chourio, Brice Turang, and William Contreras, you also have tons of production from the middle and bottom like Jake Bauers who did win the NLCS MVP, David Hamilton who’s batting.455 in the postseason and other guys like Christian Yelich, Garrett Mitchell, and Sal Frelick. It’s close, but give me the Brewers offense.
Category: Relief Pitching
Winner: Brewers
The Brewers arguably have one of the best bullpens in baseball. Trevor Megill, Abner Uribe, JoJo Romero, Aaron Ashby, DL Hall, and Antonio Senzatela are just a list of names who have been great this season and in the postseason for MIL. Their bullpen was 3rd in ERA, 2nd in SV, 5th in WHIP, 4th in FIP, and 4th in WAR. In the postseason, they're ranked 2nd in bullpen performance behind the NYY.
The Rays also have a great bullpen not just because of the guys that are already slotted as relievers but because of the flexibility to put guys in relief spots. Traditional long relievers like Griffin Jax, Ian Seymour, Steven Matz are guys that can start but also give you bulk relief innings if need. Then ofc you have your guys like Cleavinger, Booser, Kelly, and closer Bryan Baker.
Both pens are dominate but I really like what MIL has done all year so I'll give them the advantage.
Final Prediction:
(1) Tampa Bay Rays Vs (1) Milwaukee Brewers
Milwaukee Brewers win in 7🏆
WS MVP: William Contreras
As similar as these teams are, I do believe the Brewers have the slight edge in most categories against the Rays, and seem like a better version of what Tampa has done so far this year. I also believe that the competition that they faced in the National League playoff bracket, was much greater and leaves them with the expectation to perform better after sweeping the back-to-back World Series champion winners in the Dodgers. Even though the Rays made it this far, they haven’t played a team like Milwaukee in the American League and settled for the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians. This is a matchup where you can’t have games where the offense goes stale and the second that it happens, the Brewers will take advantage of that.
The Brewers will finally end their World Series drought!
IT’S TIME FOR THE 2026 WORLD SERIES AND WE HAVE A GREAT SERIES APPROACHING.
Tampa Bay Rays Vs Milwaukee Brewers, in a matchup to determine which franchise will earn their first #WorldSeries championship.
The #Rays on their way to the World Series, swept the New York Yankees in the ALDS and beat the Guardians in 6 games in the ALCS. The #Brewers beat the San Diego Padres and 4 games in the NLDS, then sweeping the heavy favorite Los Angeles Dodgers in 4 games in the NLCS.
I’ll be dropping my predictions along with 4 different categories to pick my World Series winner. We'll be looking at offense, defense, starting pitching, and relief pitching. Both of these teams are very similar which means these decisions were hard to make. Let me know what you guys think!

Malika: "You're willing to take less (money)?"
KAT: "Oh yeah, because I want this team to stay together. That's always been my main priority was to keep everyone here, to keep this core, this special team that we have. So it was the first thing on my mind as soon as it was. And there was nowhere in my mind a max was even thought of"
Jalen to KAT: "Sign the contract" 😁
The Championship Series is here, and we only have 4 teams left! The Rays will host the Guardians, and the Dodgers will go to Milwaukee to face the Brewers 👀.
Here are my predictions for each series and my World Series matchup 🔥.
So far, we're 7/8 on series winners, and we're looking to continue the dominance. Like always, drop your own predictions below 🗣️.
CLE (2) Vs TB (1)
Prediction: Rays in 6
After coming back from 0-2, Cleveland has tons of momentum and absolutely deserves to be here. I also think they benefited from a very tired White Sox bullpen, which saw tons of innings throughout the series. They'll be facing a much better pitching staff this time, headlined by Drew Rasmussen. They'll also need quality starts from their guys like Bibee and Griffin to save their bullpen as much as possible.
After embarrassing the Yankees, Tampa continues to show why they're the team to beat in the AL. Their ability to string hits and get quality starts has allowed them to play close and win all year. They have the much better roster IMO, and I expect them to continue to roll and clinch a WS berth for the first time since 2020.
LAD (2) Vs MIL (1)
Prediction: Dodgers in 6
Milwaukee beat LA in the regular-season series 4-3, but these teams are completely different come October. The Brewers have not won a WS in their franchise history yet, but this is their best opportunity after winning 103 games. They need to hit HRs if they're going to put up a fight with LA and produce a ton of runs instead of solo shots. This team is much better than last year's NLCS team, and they definitely have a better chance to shock the world.
The clear favorite to win the WS all year is here, to nobody's surprise. The key for them is to get Ohtani going; he's hitting .154 so far in the playoffs. I'm also looking at their bullpen to get key innings if their super rotation can't get enough innings. Edwin Diaz has been much better so far too. Their quest for the 3-peat will live on in a rematch against TB.

Excited for the Yankees to have a stretch where they look unstoppable, then struggle heavily during the summer. Then have one good round of the postseason and then look abysmal in another and then the season will end. Every year. Same story. Baseball!
HAPPY DIVISION SERIES DAY FOR THE MLB #Postseason. We're in for a treat, and it's time to take a look at each series and give out my predictions for the winners💪.
Like always, let me know what you guys think, whether you agree or disagree 🗣️.
SD (4) Vs MIL (1)
Prediction: Brewers in 5
The hottest team in baseball meets the best team in baseball. The Padres have been unreal, and that showed against the Cubs. The pitching shut down one of the best offenses, and the bats continue to be unreal. SD will play well, but MIL pitching is much different than CHC, which is led by the Miz.
The Brewers have been unreal, and this is the best Brewers team we've seen at 103 wins. These guys can put the bat on the ball, as they're 1st in the league in team BA. They get on base a ton, but they lack the homer ball. Luckily, I think the pitching can carry the weight for them if the lack of HR continues.
With the Padres pitching and questions about whether the depth can be relied on, I think the Brewers will be able to string rallies together even if it isn't without the long ball, and I think their rotation, along with their bullpen, can just limit enough to sneak away with this series. This will be a very close series.
CHW (6) Vs CLE (2)
Prediction: Guardians in 5
The White Sox looked amazing; I won't take away credit, but I also acknowledge that they played a team that played .500 baseball. That offense can hit really well, but I have concerns about their pitching throughout the playoffs unless they get some dicey performances out of their guys. Their starters need some quality starts to rest as many pen guys as they can, but I'm sure they'll carry extra arms on the roster.
Setting up that 1-2 punch of Messick and Williams is so nasty for CLE, and maybe Foster Griffin can get it going as well. I think the lineup is going to heat up this series, and they have the guys to do it. Kwan, DeLauter, and Rocchio have been hitting, especially in the 2nd half. J-Ram needs to get it going, though, if they want to win.
I believe he will, and I think the pitching, which is better than CHW will succeed and have them advance in another close series.
What an awesome way to begin the 2026 Postseason 🔥
Let's take a look at the best performances last night that helped their teams take a Game 1 win 👀:
Cam Schlittler in 38.2 IP against the Red Sox, has a 0.47 ERA, 49 Ks, 898 ERA+, and a 11.41 K/9 🤯. No one has ever had an ERA below 0.50 AND a 11+ K/9 against any team ever minimum 6 starts.
Ben Rice, after a 40 HR season, lights up Boston with 2 HRs, including a Grand Slam, and 6 RBI. He had more hits and RBI than all of Boston combined last night.
Boston's struggling offense needs to get something going against one of the best lefties in the game Max Fried, to keep their hopes alive.
Michael King in his 2 Wild Card starts for the Padres:
7 IP 1 H 8 K 3 BB 0 ER and a W vs CHC
7 IP 5 H 12 K 0 BB 0 ER and a W vs ATL
Might be time to talk about Wild Card King 👀.
Tatis and Machado also hit a pair of HRs early and combined 4/6 with 3 RBI. Boegarts also went 2/4 with a HR to lead the hottest team in baseball to a win.
The Cubs need their league-leading offense to step it up immediately and need PCA to take charge; he doesn't need those playoff numbers getting any worse.
