Town near me just approved sale of 1000s of acres for solar development. Beautiful farm land, hunting/wildlife habitat, heritage homes. All going to be gobbled up or surrounded by solar panels.
No opposition bc instead of Christian conservatives joining the local Republican party and going to town hall meetings, they listen to podcasts and post memes on Facebook.

I have known those who reject Christianity because they say “it just doesn’t make sense” to them only to watch them embrace that which is fundamentally absurd. One cannot simply not believe, one always believes something else in preference to an alternative. I don’t mock people who struggle to come to grips with the Christian faith, but I would simply encourage folks to remember that to reject one thing is to accept another and sometimes the other thing we embrace by default can be far more unsound than that which we rejected consciously. I think Christianity is sound all the way down, by the way, but for those still wrestling just make sure you don’t leap from what seems to you like unstable ground into an absolute groundless abyss.

Take careful note of this. If this chaos is successful, France will fall into a third world communist hellscape that will be nearly impossible to come back from anytime soon.
Yet here in America, the so-called “accelerationists” want this to happen intentionally. They want the chaos of the third world and the communists to rise in America. They think the chaos will produce their based right-wing dictator. They are mistaken.
It has not and will not happen in France. It will not happen here. If we fall to third world communism, we will fall for decades, and it will take multiple generations to even fracture the takeover.

There is further irony in that affirmative action style programs, upheld across the entire sclerotic mass of Western experiments in multiculturalism, explicitly exacerbate ethnic tensions by emphasizing the distinction in the first place, even when ostensibly implemented to correct some "injustice."
I forget the name of the book but I remember seeing one with the precise thesis that the adoption of any kind of differential ethnic signifier within a state (such as ethnic eligibility for affirmative action style programs) basically heralded the ultimate collapse of that society into Balkanized ethnic conflict.

This is likely due to the very real mass deportation operations currently being conducted and the net negative migration going on right now, and the reason why housing prices have not dropped is simply that people are refusing to sell at a loss.
At some point there is going to be a price crash, which would absolutely be a very good thing for home buyers, especially young men and young families looking to get one, but is going to make a lot of boomers seeing their home values drop very upset and very skittish, possibly even reneg on supporting the current administration.
That’s also why it’s so important to turnout and support the current admin and push as hard for more, as well as that this is a good thing.

Minneapolis houses extremists you'd normally find in places like Seattle and Portland. The DFL shows next to no interest in distancing themselves and they often share the same pool of activists and donors.

I've always speculated that a Democrat who openly uses the n word to refer to Black people would still get ~80-85% of their votes. Alaska is unfortunately too small of a sample size to test that hypothesis in.
