If, God forbid, there is a Civil War, it will not be North vs. South. It will not be a race war. It will be a holy war between the ever-persecuted followers of Christ, and those who deny Him.
These scenes are from the Spanish Civil War, in which a coalition of Leftists waged war on Catholicism in Spain. 7,000 priests, nuns, bishops, seminarians, and church-goers were martyred. 20,000 churches were burned down. Countless religious artifacts destroyed.
The Republicans sold almost all of Spainâs gold reserves to Stalin for Soviet aid. The raised brigades of thousands of international communist Soldiers.
But they still lost to the Nationalist coalition, who waged a holy war to end the Red Terror in Spain.
There is a reason they donât teach this in school, along with the Chinese Cultural Revolution, the Armenian Genicide, and the Bolshevik Revolution. If these topics are covered at all, it is with a Leftist bent, and an attitude of dismissal.
Read broadly. Question everything. Look for repeated patterns in modern society.
The book I read that inspired this post was âThe Last Crusadeâ by Warren H. Carroll.
Your thermostat setting can say a lot about how active you are. People who prefer higher temps tend to live more sedentary lifestyles.
Happy Sunday! God is so Good!!!
> be me
> born Christian
> call it a scam
> walk away
> try to convince others itâs fake
> read Bible to find flaws
> look for scenarios God handled poorly
> try to propose better solutions
> every alternative I offer is worse
> realize His logic is airtight
> can't out-logic God
> intellectual honesty forces me to admit
> swallow pride
> return to Christ
> spread the Word through art

Best take Iâve seen so far. So many NPCs on the timeline need to read this.
Lina, you don't know the honest truth.
In the military, you got your POGs... Person Other than a Grunt. Guys who don't shoot anything. You need them, because you need all sorts of specialties, but you can't trust their big-picture judgement, because the overall mission of the military is shootin' people, and they don't do that.
In civilization, we have POMs.
Person Other than a Maker. Dudes what don't build things. You might need them. But you shouldn't take them too seriously, or listen to them too much, because on some fundamental level, they are never going to get it. They are never going to understand. The fundamental task of civilization is making things, and POMs don't do that.
"This is just a mash-up of existing technology" is the most POM-like typing you could ever hope to see. It's a tell that someone has never done a significant engineering project in a technical role.
Experienced engineers not only understand differently, we eat, sleep and breathe the basic reality that 99% of engineering challenges are "get mechanism to work with other mechanism". Without breaking, shaking itself apart or blowing up.
Every basic scientific principle behind the internal combustion automobile was understood by the ancient Greeks and Romans.
And yet they were not only unable to harness those principles to make a primitive steam-powered automobile, they were unable to conceive of the very idea, because their ability to implement and integrate wasn't advanced enough.
If you look at everything that Elon Musk has ever done, every company he has ever built, every technology he has ever brought to market, none of it was a purely new invention.
It was ALL taking stuff that already kinda worked, and making it do new things. And not just do them, but do them so well that they actually became practical.
SpaceX didn't invent the rocket. They made it reusable.
Tesla didn't invent the electric motor or the battery. They made them practical for ground transportation.
Neurallink didn't invent electrical nerve interfaces. They made them control a computer UI.
This shit is incredibly hard. If you try to use the known principle of a cold-gas thruster to make a car fly, you're going to crash and blow up a lot. You're going to have to make mistakes, and fix them, one by one, until you run out of mistakes and the thing flies.
Real engineers, real makers, know that this is what the word engineering means. POMs don't get it. Lina doesn't understand what she saw.
She thinks she saw a publicity stunt to impress yokels.
No. That was a publicity stunt to impress engineers.
It wasn't a demonstration of a flying car at all. It was a demonstration of the engineering capabilities of team.
It was a flex.
"Look," they said, "we can reify the Gernsback continuum. Give us your silliest, low-effort science fiction meme tech, and give us enough time, and we'll make it real."
The purpose of making a flying car isn't to let you do a jetpack leap over traffic. It's to learn all the little implementation details and balancing tradeoffs and gotchas that you have to master to make a car fly.
It's not the big scientific discoveries that build civilization. By themselves, they are nothing but curiosities.
What builds civilization is all the little discoveries that you make when you try to get the big ones to stop crashing and blowing up.
When someone does that on a unprecedented level, you either help them, or you stay out of the way and keep your ignorant POM opinions to yourself.
I really appreciate how the chic fil a fruit cup doesnât have any nasty filler fruit like cantaloupe and honeydew. Only the good stuff!
Lessons in rowing that apply to politics:
1) If you canât row together, you lose. Hash out disagreements on strategy or personnel changes after you have beaten your opponents.
2) You donât have to like every man on your boat to pull your heart out for them. You are working towards a greater victory.
3) Singles donât beat doubles. Doubles donât beat 4âs. And 4âs donât beat 8âs. Stay united in the largest possible formation to win.
4) You need a leader (coxswain) to motivate, inform, and steer you during the race. Do not undermine this person once they are chosen, even if they are flawed.
5) The race will be very painful. You will not be able to look left or right without upsetting the balance of the boat. You will not be able to scratch your face, take a weak stroke, or lose focus. You have to lock in and endure.
This is the correct position on the death penalty.
I am getting lots of incoming questions about the public execution of Nidal Hasan, mostly because I have been outspoken on wanting public executions for over a decade.
My position is simple: Executions should be public and brutal, not private and medicalized. They are the ultimate example of the state's monopoly on violence, and the only way to keep that from running out of control is to confront voters with the trade they have made every single time, that they might have appropiate confidence or revulsion in the institution.
This is not new thinking. George Washington thought the same. The way we have shifted from hanging to firing squads to doctors quietly injecting chemicals that send our worst gently off to sleep is awful and dystopian, a total short-circuiting of important feedback mechanisms. It makes needless executions more likely, not less so. People who demean this as barbaric or yucky miss the whole point. It doesn't somehow become torture or inhumane (as the UN is suddenly claiming) just because we decline to hide the act behind a curtain.
And then there are those who suggest any revel in the death of those who truly deserve it is an indicator of a broken or diseased mind. To the contrary. It is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order. That it has not been done here in 60 years is an indictment in and of itself.
And that is without even getting into the fact that men were not hung for stealing horse, but that horses may not be stolen.
"I would to God that one of the most attrocious in each State was hung in Gibbets, up on a gallows five times as high as the one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the Man, who can build his greatness upon his Countryâs ruin."
- George Washington, 1778
It is very important to maintain your aura while walking through the rain. Look like an unbothered king, not a limp-wristed nerd.
I have spoken.
JD and Marco both having incredible weeks.
We love the wins. They are not sufficient yet though. Letâs keep up the momentum.
Every time Râs do something like this they excite the base more for midterms - badly needed.
.@VP: "There has been no company in the United States, unfortunately, that has abused this system more than Microsoft."
Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers in 2025 after certifying that it could not find qualified American employees â yet the company was approved for more than 6,000 H-1Bs and filed 3,682 PERM applications, including nearly 1,000 applications for the same positions as the laid off American workers.
