Sammy Sosa hit 20 home runs over a 21 game span from May 25 to June 20, 1998. He had a 1.421 OPS during that span. Barry Bonds had a 1.422 OPS in 2004.

Here’s an idea: Every team just refuses to play the Astros. Just take those days off. Sure, the Astros go 162-0, but they go into the playoffs not having played a competitive game in 11 months, and Rob Manfred presides over the biggest farce of a season in baseball history.
