With senior core, Jerry Wheaton has Roxana baseball raising the standard thetelegraph.com/sports/arti… via @altontelegraph Congratulations to Coach Jerry Wheaton on being named The Telegraph Small Schools Baseball Coach of the Year. This recognition is well deserved and reflects the culture, expectations, and commitment he has built within our baseball program. Three straight 20 win seasons, a regional championship, 100 career victories, and more importantly, a group of young men who represent Roxana the right way. Coach Wheaton and Coach Rahn have raised the standard, and our future is bright because of their leadership. Proud of what they’ve built. Congratulations, Coach!

Max Autery pushes buttons, pushes Roxana baseball to big season thetelegraph.com/sports/arti… via @altontelegraph Congratulations to Max Autery on being named The Telegraph Small Schools Baseball Player of the Year. Max’s numbers speak for themselves, but what impressed me most was his leadership, competitiveness, and willingness to hold both himself and his teammates to a high standard. Those qualities helped drive one of the most successful seasons in recent Roxana baseball history. Congratulations, Max. Best of luck at Quincy University. We can’t wait to follow your continued success. Once a Shell, always a Shell. @RHS_Shells @BaseballShells @AMiller31
