That money pays for almost 2 million jobs in the United States. Not in Europe. 🔹Moving just 15% of that spending to European providers would create about 460,000 jobs here. Money that stays in Europe instead of making Silicon Valley billionaires even richer. 🔹Citizens are ready: 6 in 10 Europeans say replacing US tech with European alternatives is a good idea. Only 13% disagree (YouGov, March 2026). Don’t expect this to go quietly. Big Tech lobbying will be fierce. Bots will flood the replies with the usual lines: “Europe can’t build anything”, “Europe is finished”. The goal is always the same: make us feel too weak to try. US diplomats will warn of terrible consequences if Europe dares to prefer its own products. This from the same US that has had a “Buy American Act” since 1933. Influencers will say Europe is “killing innovation”, while the US has protected its own champions for decades. We have the power. Every subscription, every app, every purchase is a vote.
