📊 Slightly better in points leagues
✍️ Missi was awesome last night. Played 30 minutes and posted 13/14/5/2/3. He played with a ton of energy and Zubac didn't have much of an answer for him. Seven of Missi's 14 rebounds were offensive, which is partially why he ended up with 5 assists off some kick-outs. Every night won't be like this, but it's an interesting start given that he saw just 20 MPG last year. The Pelicans have a B2B on Friday/Saturday, so he's worth picking up in a lot of spots to see how it plays out.

✅ Must Add: 14-teamers
🌊 Stream/Soft Add: 10-12 teamers, maybe some 8-teamers for the dense schedule starting Friday
📊 Same in points leagues
✍️ Diabate played a surprising 34 minutes and posted 17/8/3/5 (with 4 turnovers). More than anything I'm looking at the minutes, as it wasn't 100% clear how Kalkbrenner (14 minutes, 4 fouls) or Steinbach (0 minutes) would factor in this year. Maybe Kalkbrenner plays more if fouls aren't a factor, and maybe Steinbach gets involved soon. But for now, Diabate should be added in a lot of leagues. I do think he benefitted from a really poor game from Brooklyn -- lots of missed defensive assignments, sloppy play offensively leading to steals and leak-out dunks -- but again, the minutes are what really matters. Streaming-wise, the Hornets play a 4-in-6 from Friday-Wednesday, which is great.

✍️ Jared McCain is actually the 3rd-most added player, but I discussed him after opening night, so check that post out. With just 2 games today, Tyson enters streaming territory for the Cavaliers, who have yet to play this season. For the situation, he makes sense as a stream, but he's fighting for backup minutes with Sam Merrill and Mario Hezonja. Obviously not super-high level competition, but Cleveland's starting five is going to play a lot of minutes. Last season, Tyson played 27 MPG and was essentially a top-150 player.

It's the 2nd day in a row that Jalen Smith and Zaccharie Risacher are the top adds. So, for my full write-ups on those guys, check my post from yesterday (I'll link in reply). So I'll be going from the 3rd-most added player onward today...
🔵 Andre Drummond, NYK 🔵
✅ Must Add: 16-teamers if you need big-man stats
🌊 Streamer/Soft Add: A fine 12-14 league streamer in general, but an especially good streaming add Thursday or Friday -- the Knicks have 4 games in 6 nights Friday to Wednesday.
📊 Better in Points Leagues
✍️ KAT got in foul trouble early, leading to a monster first half from Drummond. He slowed down in the second half but still finished with 12/14/4/1/2 in 24 minutes. Generally you should expected 15-20 minutes from him, but that's enough to put him in streamer territory most nights given his ability to double-double in that time. Like mentioned above, he's not a must-add, but the Knicks have a great schedule coming up from Friday-Wednesday, playing 4 times. That gives him a nice short-term burst of value usable in most formats, especially 2-center leagues.

🌊 Streamer/Soft Add: 10-12 teamers
📊 Worse in points leagues
✍️ Allen should get the start today with both Kon Knueppel and Coby White out for an undetermined amount of time. He's probably closer to a must-add in 12-team leagues but it's hard to say given we don't know the timetables of White/Kon. Either way, Allen was essentially a top-85 player in 29 MPG last year. He could be top-50 if he got 34 MPG, though some of that depends on if his steal rate from last year holds up. Charlotte also has a good schedule, playing 5 times from today through next Wednesday.

✅ Must Add: 20-teamers
🌊 Streamer/Soft Add: Streamer for 12-14 teamers when you need 3s and the schedule lines up. Next chance for that probably comes Sunday-Wednesday (3 games in 4 nights). But if he doesn't hit his 3s you're probably going to get nothing.
📊 Similar in points leagues
✍️ Last night was a career-high 3-point shooting performance from McCain, who hit 6 triples on the way to 20 points. Based on his career numbers, McCain would need close to 35 MPG to be a must-add consideration for 12-team leagues. I think he's a totally fine streamer if you need 3s and when the schedule makes sense. Otherwise, he's just more valuable in real life than in fantasy.

✍️ Nic Claxton (hamstring) is out for at least another 2 weeks, putting Smith in position to start. As a starter last year, he averaged 12/7/1 with 1.5 STK while shooting 52 FG% and hitting 1.6 3PM in 25 MPG. That's flirting with top-100 production in category formats, and if he were to get closer to 28 MPG, it's more like top 75. He's a bit less valuable in points leagues due to the reliance on FG%, BLK and 3PM as drivers of value.

✅ Must Add: 16+ teamers, maybe even deeper
🌊 Streamer/Soft Add: 14-16 teamers, mostly if you need 3PM or STL
📊 Worse in Points Leagues: 16-team streamer
✍️ Risacher is coming off a strong finish to his preseason, with 18/5/4 in 27 minutes on Friday. I'm just not convinced Risacher will be fantasy relevant. Based on his best per-game numbers over his first two seasons, he'd need nearly 30 MPG to qualify even as a streamer for 3s and steals. Maybe he can develop and maybe he can play 30 MPG, but he's just far from a must-add player to me.
🟢 Mitchell Robinson, BOS 🟢
✅ Must Add: 16-teamers
🌊 Streamer/Soft Add: 12-14 teamers, mostly if you need big-man stats
📊 Similar in Points Leagues
✍️ Boston plays tonight, and it's possible Robinson will start at center. Still, I wouldn't expect more than 20 MPG out of him given that's been his role lately, and the Celtics still have Neemias Queta. If you want to assume he plays 24 MPG, I still consider him just a streamer given his injury history and how much of a specialist he is (FG%, REB, BLK).
