This is how it works..common sense You respect me, I respect you. You treat me well, I treat you well. You loyal to me, I am loyal to you. You show trustworthiness, I show trust in you. You don't dis me behind my back, I don't dis you and don't mistrust you. You show that you value our friendship, I go out of my way for you to help grow our friendship. You accept I am not perfect, I accept you are not perfect. You willing to show you want to mend an issue, I will help mend the issue. You show appreciation for what I do for our friendship, I will show appreciation for what you mean to me and our friendship. You respect I am not a clingy in each other's face constantly type person, and I will respect how you view friendship. Get any of the above wrong continously without concern then don't be surprised if the friendship fails.... So if you show total disrespect, don't wonder why you get the same in return. If you treat me badly, don't expect me to be normal and treat you well. If you show a lack of loyalty, dont expect trust and any friendship from me. If you cannot be trusted and constantly lie, don't expect any communication or trust shown and then expect me to distance myself from you. If you bare false witness and talk smack behind my back, any kind of meaningful friendship is probably never going to happen. Today's world is full of people only interested in themselves, with no loyalty, integrity, honesty, humility, trustworthiness and all the good values that held friendships together... So if you want people to treat you right you need to look inside yourself and change what is needed to get back to those close relationships by rectifying wrong actions.
