The highlights of the day for me is the budget midfielder spot.
Sangare played the full 90 minutes and of course, hit DEFCON. The 0 pointer was surely just a blip
His £5m team mate Janelt casually hit 20 DEFCON too…
Whilst Kevin Schade seems to be the only Brentford attacker worth trusting. 90 minutes again and yet another double digit away haul for him!
Double Bournemouth midfield just looks so good for the long run too.
Tavernier scores again and makes it 7 shots on target in 2 games 😂
Alex Scott also hit DEFCON, missed a big chance and had 4 key passes.
Could add Kluivert too . The list goes on!
So much budget value in midfield for both your DEFCON enthusiasts and those who simply prefer the attacking options, and we’re only a few teams in!

MY PLAYERS BOARD
Before we go position by position, this is probably the easiest way to show you where my head currently is. This is NOT a ranking. It's not every good player in the game. And it's certainly not a list of players I'm telling you to buy.
These are simply the players I can genuinely somehow see finding a route into my GW1 squad. Some will survive until deadline. Some absolutely won't.
If a player isn't on that board, it doesn't necessarily mean I dislike him. That's an important distinction. There are loads of excellent Fantasy assets that I currently don't know how to fit. That's particularly true this season because of the premium problem mentioned earlier.
I find a shortlist much more useful when it represents players I could actually own, rather than every player capable of scoring points.
