I’m becoming more interested in being found than being seen.
There’s a difference.
With my E-MTB projects, I’d love someone searching on Google for a special cycling holiday or a different kind of team building to discover something useful I’ve written.
That’s why I’m choosing to spend more energy on long-form content, with @Pinterest and @Beehiiv as part of the strategy.
Will it work? I don’t know yet.
But I like the idea of creating something people can find and read months or even years later.
And I’ll keep sharing my thoughts here on X, because I enjoy this more personal side of things.
Seven different Caminos de Santiago, all planned for E-MTB.
The French Way, the Portuguese routes, the Northern Way, the Primitivo, the English Way and the Via de la Plata.
I love the idea that each one has its own character.
For EMTB CAMINOS, my goal is to create seven different journeys for 2028, not seven versions of the same holiday.
There’s a lot to think about, and that’s a part of building this project I really enjoy.

At 25, I had energy but little experience.
At 69, I have experience but less energy.
Then AI arrived.
Maybe the opportunity isn't young vs old.
Maybe it's experience × leverage.
A Camino by E-MTB can look very simple from the outside: ride, eat, sleep, repeat.
But when I imagine EMTB CAMINOS, I see many different responsibilities behind that simplicity.
Guiding the group. Helping with mechanical problems. Moving luggage. Creating good photo and video memories. Making sure non-riding partners can also enjoy the journey.
I like thinking about the experience from all these different points of view.
For EMTB Italy Tour, I made one choice very early: e-MTB only.
Not because I want to make riding “easy”.
I want people with different fitness levels to have a better chance of sharing the same journey, without turning every climb into a test of who is stronger.
For me, that gives more space to the place, the group and the experience itself.
I’m very clear about one thing with EMTB Team Building: I’m not a mental coach, and I don’t want to pretend to be one.
I’m an MTB guide, with years of experience in environments where preparation, communication and decisions really matter.
Visualisation, anchoring and mind maps are tools I use to make the experience more useful and more structured.
For me, that distinction is important.
With EMTB Italy Tour, I don’t want the bike to take over the whole holiday.
The ride matters, of course. But so do the village you stop in, the dinner afterwards, the wine, the landscape, the person travelling with you.
For me, a premium E-MTB trip in Italy should leave space for all of that.
I want people to remember the riding, but also everything that happened around it.
On a group E-MTB trip, I don’t like the idea that one friend has to become the unofficial guide.
Checking the route, watching the weather, making decisions, worrying about the others.
They came to ride too.
That is one of the reasons I believe a professional guide should take responsibility for the ride, so the whole group can actually enjoy the day.
When I think about EMTB CAMINOS, I don’t only picture the person riding.
I also think about the partner who may travel with them and wants to enjoy the journey in a different way.
That matters to me.
The idea is to build an experience where the rider has the Camino by E-MTB, while the person beside them can still have their own good days, places and moments along the way.
A shared trip does not have to mean doing everything together.

The most underrated business model is the quiet one.
10 clients. $2k a month. No employees. No office. No investors. You take Fridays off and nobody notices because nobody's watching.
It won't get you featured on Forbes.
But it will give you on helluva life.
I like that my three E-MTB projects are very different, but they may speak to the same kind of person.
Someone who rides because they love it.
Someone who enjoys good organisation and real places.
Maybe also an entrepreneur or manager who cares about how people work together.
EMTB Italy Tour, EMTB Caminos and Team Building are separate ideas, but I can see the connection more clearly now.
That interests me a lot.
Why Finale Ligure?
Why not organise an E-MTB leadership offsite in any other mountain destination?
Because Finale Ligure is not simply a beautiful backdrop.
Its distinctive geography, mild climate, extensive trail network, trail-maintenance culture and established outdoor ecosystem have made it a global reference point for enduro.
But for a company, the real value is not riding the most famous or difficult trails.
It is having an environment varied enough to adapt the experience to the people involved — their abilities, confidence and responsibilities — while working on preparation, communication and decision-making when conditions change.
In my new LinkedIn newsletter, I explain why Finale Ligure is a fundamental part of Finale Performance Ride and how the territory supports the purpose of this premium E-MTB leadership offsite.

Why Finale Ligure Became the Spiritual Home of Enduro — and Why That Matters to a Company

Years of rally co-driving taught me to value very simple things: prepare well, communicate clearly, stay calm when the pressure rises, and review what happened afterwards.
That experience is part of the thinking behind Finale Performance Ride.
Not because rally and MTB are the same. They are not.
But some habits travel well from one demanding environment to another.
Are you usually the one organising trips for your riding friends?
Routes, bikes, plans… and somehow you end up looking after everyone else’s holiday.
I think about that when preparing my Umbria E-MTB tour. I want you to enjoy the trails, discover the places we visit and sit down to dinner without having to sort out tomorrow.
You had the idea. You should get to enjoy it too.
That’s what my new article is about:
“Be a Guest, Not the Organiser.”
