⚠️ Scam alert We've been made aware of fake text messages informing people that they have an unpaid Penalty Charge Notice (PCN). The text gives a link to a fake government website in the hope that people will click on it and provide personal details, including bank details. This would give the information to scammers. We will never contact anyone about Penalty Charge Notices by text. We have no way of knowing your phone number. Penalty Charge Notices are issued in person on the vehicle only, or occasionally handed to the driver. Payments are made via our website at northyorks.gov.uk/roads-park…, not the government website.
