Whenever you see something small and lovely in your day and take a picture of it just because it looks pretty, you’re always welcome to share that photo here. It would be really nice to see the little moments of beauty you notice.

Heb nu 's avonds mijn winterjas maar weer uit de mottenballen getrokken voor mijn rondje om de kerk.🌜

SUPER excited to share that my 2027 Bee Calendar is now available for sale ✨ This is a limited edition calendar with 12 of my highest definition bee photos, all taken this year. Each photo is labelled with the scientific name, the English name, and the sex of the insect pictured. I’m hoping this will act as a resource for people to learn to recognise some bee species and appreciate the amazing diversity of insects that exist. 🌿🐝 Buy calendar here: etsy.com/uk/listing/46082882… **only a small number are available, so if you want to get one, make sure you don’t leave it too late!**

Met mijn geliefde dochter bij opa geweest, wat als altijd heel gezellig was, en na afloop nog een prachtige wandeling gemaakt. 👌

On a still morning, sitting by the froth of Burbage Brook as it tumbles through Padley Gorge, you can't help feeling that you've somehow fallen into a different world ... perhaps when you tripped over that tree root. Here, there's no haste or pressure, no noise but the constant rush and bubble of water and the occasional fall of a leaf. I find that I always stay long, long after I've taken the shot, losing track of time, just watching and listening and breathing it all in, so grateful for such places and the chance to fall into them. This is the view that will be bringing autumn peace to your wall throughout November if you managed to snap up one of my 2026 Peak District Calendars. My 2027 Calendar is still available but I'm now running low on stock - so if you would like one for only £10.95 + UK P&P please see the link in the comments below or in my bio. Thank you. 📍 Peak District, England

No one should want a future in which all creative & intellectual work is done by machines, where humans are kept as pets playing games in their homes. All literature & mythology warns against such a fate. Don't go gently into the dystopia they seek.

Ons nieuwe normaal... 🧐😞
I lived in Stockholm. I lived in the house of a Holocaust survivor. Six years a prisoner in three different extermination camps. Sweden was a safe haven for many survivors, not everything went well, but it was a home for those who lost everything. It is with sadness and outrage that I see posters in the shop windows of Stockholm as if we were in the 1930s in Nazi Germany. Photograph of the door of Green Laces – a shop for vegan shoes and accessories at Götgatan 28, Stockholm.
