With Kapuso star Barbie Forteza delivering what might be her career-defining performance, this film is a masterclass in terror, weaving guilt, pain, and the darkest corners of the human psyche into a labyrinthine dance of horror. Cabrido, a maestro of the genre, has already proven his prowess with chilling works like ‘Clarita’, ‘Untold’ (starring Jodi Sta. Maria), and ‘Mallari’ (with Piolo Pascual), where the true monsters aren’t flesh-eating ghouls but the insidious forces that devour the soul. In P77, he expands this domain, crafting a world where guilt is not just a feeling but a suffocating prison, and Forteza’s luminous yet tormented portrayal of Luna anchors it with electrifying intensity.
