Fewer than 1 in 10 children in Dallupura can read a simple story. These empty shelves could change that. Every book you send becomes a child's first story, first word, first step back to learning. That's all it takes. Wishlist link-

Why Dallupura?
A recent survey of 201 families found:
• ~1 in 2 children are out of school
• 37% can't yet read letters
• Most families live in 1-room homes with little light or space to study.
A library can change that. Your support can change that.

A book can change the direction of a person’s life.
At Bansa Community Library, children and students in rural Uttar Pradesh can read, learn, prepare for exams and dream, without having to leave their village for access to books.
But we need more books on our shelves.
You can help: Order a book directly from our Amazon Wishlist Or make a monetary contribution to help us buy books and learning resources we need most.
Every book you send becomes part of a shared community resource, and may be read by dozens of children and students.
Help us keep the shelves growing. Help us make sure that where a person lives does not decide what they get to read.

For years, preparing for competitive exams meant students from our village had to leave home and move to cities, where access to books, the internet, study spaces and coaching was available. For many families, this also meant the additional financial burden of paying for coaching and living expenses in the city.
Today, they have that space right here in their own village.
At Bansa Community Library, aspirants can access a dedicated study space, digital resources and learning support completely free of cost. What once required leaving the village can now happen within the community itself.
But we need more books to strengthen this space and help more young people prepare for their exams. đź“š

You don't need to do something extraordinary.
Just send a book.
A child will read it.
Another child will read it after them.
And another after that.
One book can travel much further than you imagine.
If you’ve already ordered, thank you. If you haven’t, today is a good day to put a new story into a child’s hands.
Please also retweet and help us reach someone who can send a book.
