Congratulations to Student Commissioner Dylan Rooks on his swearing in! ASCBC spent years advocating for our Student Commissioner to be empowered with expanded voting rights and elected by the broader student body.
Commissioner Rooks is our second Student Commissioner to be elected by students and he can vote on all matters except personnel and union negotiations. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished for student empowerment and we’re not stopping here.
Follow @baltcityascbc and @commissioner_drooks on Instagram and stay informed about what we’re doing to move the needle for student voice in Baltimore. @baltcityschools
