It’s 2026. You’re talking about a small online debate from 2020 with a guest who just wants to talk about the U.S. role in the genocide of communists in Indonesia, or the current DSA-backed effort to win the mayor’s race in Providence. It comes off as bizarre.
Every 2 years, for hundreds of years, members of Congress try to extract concessions from speaker candidates in exchange for their votes. It would be far more productive to talk about the opportunity coming up in late 2026/early 2027 than to keep talking about this one from 6 years ago.
Those as excited I am for the @nycDSA slate's sweep tonight should make sure not to look at this generational run with envy, but to figure out how to replicate this massive effort in your own area over the next 4-8 years...

The violence used by NYPD officers in this video is extremely disturbing and unacceptable. Officers should never treat a person this way. The NYPD is conducting a full investigation into this incident.
CRAZY to me that the conversation in the comments is "well duh they are losing, obviously its more likely they have a transgression".
People really trying to hold onto their toxicity in ranked, why its a broken system. The ugly truth is it's an inherently anti-social system
