ALT The Highrise Project used their £10,000 grant from the first round of the Leeds Digital Inclusion Fund to deliver digital art workshops for people who face barriers to digital inclusion. Their sessions taught people how to use different creative software and tools, enabling them to develop confidence and learn transferrable skills that can be applied to other digital activities. They were also successful in securing funding in the second round to expand their work, and double the number of courses available.

ALT White text on a grey background says “A lot of the group are more confident using iPads and connecting to the internet and some are more able to fully use their mobile phones. This has meant a number of the group are interacting with each other digitally, which is enhancing their friendships.” Meanwood Valley Urban Farm
