Very touched by the tragic loss of super talented photographer @SaadShots. In him, our country has lost a visionary young man with a promising future. Our sympathies go to his family and friends, the photography world, and all who were touched by his work.

QUOTE: “We must be brave and avoid keeping silent about issues that affect our people and our areas. This is the only path that will drive us forward as a kingdom. The leadership that will build a strong kingdom and Uganda as a whole must respect human rights, freedom of worship and culture. Our people must be given a chance to voice out their concerns and be able to shape their destiny.” - Kabaka Mutebi during Local Governments Day celebrations on May 21, 2017 #MonitorUpdates

For simply driving a car branded with the National Unity Platform colors in Mubende on the day dictator Museveni was in the district, our comrades Kyeyune Pafuladito and Kakooza Damasen were violently removed from their car by SFC soldiers yesterday, arrested and detained at Mubende police up to now! A criminal regime seized with so much fear. Stay strong comrades. Our struggle will end in victory!
