This is not behavior that any elected official should stoop to but here we have Manitoba’s Premier leading the way.
WATCH: Manitoba Premier @WabKinew is caught on camera making dog noises and mocking Manitoba Progressive Conservative Leader @obbykhan60 during Question Period as the Opposition pressed the government on its budget and spending estimates.

For the last 2 years, the NDP could not care less about Spruce Woods or rural Manitoba.
Now — right before a by-election blackout — they’ve suddenly had 4 big announcements in the area.
Either he’s had an epiphany or the premier’s trying to buy some votes in Spruce Woods.

Wab is showing his true colours when he seems offended that PCs are giving up a question to give independent MLA Mark Wasyliw a chance to ask questions. I guess he doesn’t like getting called out on his past statements.
Today was a small step forward in my commitment to Justice for Jordyn.
Many congrats to the Reimer family on the passing of the Victims of Impaired Drivers Commemoration Day Act!
And thank you to Brandon West MLA Wayne Balcaen (@Balcy2) for bringing such an important bill forward.
May 1st of every year will now be dedicated to commemorate the lives of Manitobans lost to impaired driving.
Wayne brought this bill—with the support of Portage la Prairie MLA @JeffBereza and our entire PC Caucus—in remembrance of Jordyn Reimer, Kelly Verwey, and all those whose lives were taken by an impaired driver.
With that said, the fight against impaired driving is not over.
Last week, the NDP government (for the 2nd time) refused to support a PC resolution calling for an independent review into why no charges were laid against an alleged accomplice in Jordyn Reimer’s death.
Myself and our Progressive Conservative team urge the NDP to stop delaying Justice for Jordyn. #mbpoli
I’m left speechless. The Justice Minister says he’s done everything he can for the family. I disagree, all it would take is one signature to send a letter of request!!!
For the 2nd time, the NDP have denied Justice for Jordyn Reimer.
Jordyn was a vibrant 24-year-old woman whose life was taken by an impaired driver at a Winnipeg intersection in 2022.
Today, PC Justice Critic Wayne Balcaen (@Balcy2) introduced a resolution requesting an out-of-province review of the decision not to prosecute an alleged accomplice in Jordyn’s death. The NDP shot it down in front of her parents and family.
Leader @obbykhan60 and MLA Balcaen later called out Wab Kinew and his justice minister for their lack of courage to ensure justice for Jordyn.
And earlier this week, the Reimer family with MADD Canada held a ceremony to unveil a memorial bench dedicated to Jordyn in Transcona. MLA Balcaen attended. No one from the NDP showed up, including the justice minister and Transcona MLA Shannon Corbett.

More and more issues every day.
🚨 NEW DATA: Paramedic staffing levels in key EMS stations across Westman have reached a crisis point.
With ongoing ER closures in the region only exacerbating this crisis, the NDP must stop putting lives at risk and take immediate action. #mbpoli

Here’s to #2025!
Happy New Year from your Progressive Conservative team 🎆💙
Excited for Manitoba’s future with @obbykhan60 I look forward to working alongside Obby on this journey.
Thank you, Wayne Balcaen MLA for Brandon West, for your endorsement and belief in my vision for Manitoba's future! It’s been an honour working alongside you and watching you grow in your position. Incredibly grateful to have your support. #ABetterManitoba #obbyforleader

The premier's out-of-province travel expenses are supposed to be posted quarterly. The NDP was elected in Oct. 2023 -- and they've never posted them. I have been asking about it since Sept. 3 and have only gotten crickets. #mbpoli cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/…

Our CFIB team was proud to partner with @RetailCouncil for today’s Retail Secure Manitoba Summit! We heard from elected officials, community safety leaders, and business owners who discussed a variety of ways to help mitigate the impacts of retail crime for MB businesses.
While attending the Retail Crime Conference in Winnipeg, the honorable Judge Wyant made a shout out to @DMMcFee for bringing the HUb Model to Canada. @JanisIrvine your work is noticed by the courts and a room filled with Law Enforcement, politicians and retailers Thank you all.
The Reimer family has fought tirelessly for justice, but their pleas have been ignored by Wab Kinew and his NDP.
As the Attorney General, NDP minister @mattwiebeMB has the power to order a review.
He needs to do what’s right, not what’s popular in his caucus.
On May 1, 2022, Jordyn Reimer’s life was tragically taken by a drunk driver.
Today, we stood with Jordyn’s loved ones to call for a review of the decision not to prosecute an accomplice in Jordyn’s death.
Wab Kinew and his NDP denied justice for Jordyn. #mbpoli
We must continue to advocate for meaningful bail reform. I personally don’t believe we will see any positive results until there is a change in Federal Government and this a change in philosophy.
Hundreds of people charged with murder while on bail. In 2022, there were 256 people charged with homicide while on release, including house arrest and parole. With 874 homicides in 2022, the 256 equate to 29% of all homicides.@Safety_Canada torontosun.com/opinion/colum…
Apparently the justice minister held another private, invite-only “summit” on crime & safety in Brandon.
The NDP are repeatedly excluding the public from conversations on major issues. This is becoming a pattern.
Why don’t the NDP want Manitobans to have a say? #mbpoli
It was fantastic to join my friend @shaun_cameron last night for the @VMHS_BSD debate club wrap up. Some future politicians in the making.
Had the opportunity to pay a visit to an old home tonight! Along with Brandon West MLA Wayne Balcaen, we were the invited guests at the @VMHS_BSD debate club year-end evening. What a talented group of young people. So awesome to hear their compelling arguments!
