One day you’re gonna wake up and AAU basketball will be over. No more weekend tournaments, packed gyms, or team hotels. No more “one more game” next weekend.
One day you’ll be out of eligibility for high school basketball. Then college basketball too.
And eventually, the thing that feels like your whole world right now becomes a memory.
So stop playing scared. Shoot your shot. Sprint the floor. Dive on the loose ball. Compete with confidence. Enjoy your teammates. Because one day you’ll wish you could go back and play just one more game with them.
Fear and hesitation have ended way more careers than missed shots ever will.
Just something to think about.

‘27 6’4 Yan Ivanov (Balboa Academy/Ukraine) is one to keep an eye on. Not too often you see a kid running the 1 & the 5 in the same game, but Ivanov is willing to do whatever it takes to secure a win. He has an impressive handle for his size & is a high iQ prospect—

Yehor Koshelev (2028) is a 6'11 big with impressive strength and physical presence. Catches everything cleanly, finishes strong at the rim, and runs the floor hard to capitalize on transition opportunities. High-upside prospect with tools that translate.
Congrats to our 26 6’10 F Dovydas Jencius @jencius_dovydas on his commitment to UMKC!! They are getting a really good player that’s just scratching the surface!! Can’t wait to watch him at the next level #Bengals #Family #Together #D1

Yehor Koshelev | OBG Elite | 2028
Koshelev is an athletic 6’11 shot blocker. He runs the floor hard and finishes above the rim with authority. Real lob threat. Talented weak side shot blocker with great timing. Very mobile for size. Reads floor and rotates at a high level on D

Yes, your JUCO years still count against you.
That was only a blanket for one class of kids.
The NCAA has resisted any efforts by the NJCAA to discuss this any further.
STOP TELLING PLAYERS THEY DONT COUNT!!!!!
