Once again, I feel really lucky. But I have to be honest; We have been a bit overwhelmed with the response, and I mean it literally.. it feels like we’ve spent our whole time fighting bottom feeder cheaters and constant DDOS attacks… On top of which, with the sheer amount of physical and mental exhaustion from the last few weeks.. we decided to take a bit of a reset- not everyone but a good chunk of the team have been forced to use holiday this week. Thats why we’ve been “officially” quieter.. during said holidays, most people had to work a fair bit! I hope you don’t see this as resting on our laurels but instead see it as us finishing a sprint and taking a breather to prepare for a marathon. We feel a bit out of control with how big things have gone and how much extra security we have been forced to do. But I still believe in our plan and ask you to believe in our team. The next part of this journey is going to get spicy, we wont have fixed everything, people will begin to say we aren’t listening, you may even see people start to panic about player count! But we’re here for the long haul, we’re in a position where we can try make 1.0 and beyond exactly what we want it to be, no compromises, that’s the dream right? Thanks for all the support, we won’t always get it right and we haven’t on this first balance pass.. but we will change it every season to keep it fresh and to keep trying new things. Cheers guys. 👊

Alright real talk and feedback time. I’ve posted on X quite a lot, so have some of our other guys. The sentiment around @wardogs is preparing to go more negative as people begin to criticise its short comings or quirks that people find. The first thing they will say will be “stop tweeting and go and fix your game”. Now, obviously, these two things are not mutually exclusive.. we can do both, but what do you think about our communication? Not looking for any glaze here; legitimate feedback.. roast me if you must, but what should we stop doing and what should we start doing?

Is this a bad take? I think stream sniping is griefing and should be treated as griefing with regards to temp bans. Discuss.
