As part of UNFCCC #ClimateWeek4 in Baku and #BCAW2026, we brought together business, industry, banks, financial institutions and other partners for a focused conversation on climate action. We listened to their perspectives on climate goals, the challenges they face and the different roles they can play in delivering them. Bringing these voices together is essential to connect climate ambition with decisions in the real economy and turn it into implementation. #ClimateAction #BCAW2026 #ClimateWeek4

At UNFCCC #ClimateWeek4 in Baku, we continued the Baku Dialogue on Water for Climate Action, launched at #COP29 to ensure that water remains an integral part of the climate agenda from one COP to the next. Together with countries and partners, we discussed how to move water commitments into implementation, strengthen the governance and continuity of the Baku Dialogue, and carry this work forward towards #COP31. #WaterAction #ClimateAction #COP29 #COP31 #ClimateWeek4

Pleased to join the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences event on the sidelines of #BCAW2026, dedicated to “Green Intelligence: From Climate Change to Socio-Economic Processes”. We had the opportunity to listen to and exchange views with distinguished academicians, scientists and experts from across the scientific and academic community on the many dimensions of climate change and the role of science in shaping effective responses. Bringing science and policy closer together is essential to turn knowledge and research into practical solutions and stronger climate action. #BCAW2026

Another important event held on the sidelines of #BCAW2026 was the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) Azerbaijan 2026 at ADA University, organized by the EkoSfera Ecological-Social Center. Connected to YOUNGO, the official youth constituency of the UNFCCC, LCOY brings young people closer to the wider international climate process. Young people need accurate knowledge of climate change and its impacts, as well as the skills and opportunities to contribute to solutions and participate meaningfully in climate action. #BCAW2026
