Good time to circle back to this, with #USDA ripping the band aid off today. I expected to see this revision be offset with a much larger drop in 25/26 #corn production... That did not happen. Feed & residual cut 230 mbu, production only cut 57 mbu (yield left alone, only cut from small drops in harvested acres). Net result is stocks move 173 mbu higher to 2.095 bbu. Updated chart still looks anomalous, but again residual is doing the heavy lifting here with yield being left alone. #oatt

A couple highlights to show just how much more anomalous that all-time high 6.35 bbu #corn feed & residual demand estimate is relative to grain consuming animal units (GCAU) after today's baffling 150 mbu increase from #USDA. GCAU: +0.2% YoY Corn Feed Demand: +16.8% YoY #oatt

Potash values rose slightly vs last week, but grain prices also climbed. Going back to 2021: Corn - bottom 12% Beans - bottom 19% Wheat - BOTTOM 3%!!!! Folks, I cannot stress enough how well valued potash is right now.
