CENTCOM Statement on Recently Fallen, Missing U.S. Service Members
TAMPA, Fla. — On July 17, two U.S. service members in Jordan were killed in action as U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing.
Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged. Other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty.
Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.

This action by the US government to subpoena reporters for reporting legitimate news on security concerns about Air Force 1 should alarm every American.
“The appearance of federal law enforcement agents on the doorstep of news reporters should shock the conscience of any American who believes in the Constitution and the press freedom it protects,” said David McCraw, The Times’s top newsroom lawyer, in a statement on Friday evening.
"The Trump administration issued subpoenas on Friday to several journalists for The New York Times, after the news outlet reported this week on security concerns involving President Trump’s new Qatari-donated Air Force One....In some cases, the subpoenas were delivered by federal agents who showed up at reporters’ homes...The subpoenas contain few specifics, asking only that the journalists testify 'in regard to an alleged violation of federal criminal law'...Before the Wednesday article was published, a senior official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation contacted The Times to ask that the article be held, calling it an issue of national security, according to a person familiar with the conversation. The F.B.I. official spoke with a reporter and a senior editor in The Times’s Washington bureau; the official declined to explain the security issue when asked."

We are closer to a peace deal than ever before. With finalisation likely expected in the next 24 hours, Pakistan is preparing for the electronic signing of the peace deal immediately after, followed by technical level talks next week.
We would like to thank United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran for their ongoing commitment during the negotiations, and we extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in the region for their support. We are confident that this historic peace deal will form a strong foundation for lasting peace.

BREAKING: US believes Iran's supreme leader has approved the broad template for draft deal with Iran. Iran has agreed in principle that in exchange for the US lifting blockade, Iran will agree in principle to dispose of highly enriched uranium. This draft has to make its way through the leadership system. But US wants them to commit to dispose of HMU and commit to resolve other nuclear issues. @VP, Witkoff, Kushner involved in negotiations. US trying to involve every middle eastern ally. @CBSNews

According to my sources, the draft proposal that’s supposed to be finalised include:
-End of war on all fronts including Lebanon
-Freeing several billion dollars of Iran's blocked funds
-Lifting the U.S. naval blockade and opening the strait of Hormuz
-Withdrawal of American forces from the immediate vicinity of Iran
After this, the parties will have 30 days to agree on the nuclear issue.
These 30 days can be extended by mutual agreement.
During these thirty days, passage will be facilitated through the strait.
According to Iran, management of the Strait of Hormuz will be an Iranian-Omani issue, and is being negotiated with Muscat.
