Data shows that many women report poor experiences of menopausal care, however, this does not show the whole picture. A recent study we conducted, published in @Nature_NPJ #WomensHealth, captured some of the nuances of these poor care experiences. A 🧵
Help-seeking experiences are varied, with many not receiving the support they need. Quotes like these highlight the need to improve healthcare professional knowledge of the menopause and involve women in care decision-making
