I had a male friend in college that was over 400 pounds. Guess what we called him, Fat Nick.
You will never hear women refer to a member of their friends group as Fat Maddy.
A fat man knows he is fat. He does not delude himself into thinking otherwise. He accepts it and often does not even mind being identified with it. A fat woman, on the other hand, is anything but that. She will refuse to see herself as fat and will be deeply offended should anyone address her as such. In fact, if you attempt to tell her she is fat, she will take offense and quickly label it body shaming, as though her weight were an injustice inflicted upon her rather than a condition she helped create.
I would play this and it also reminds me that we need a remake of Mister Mosquito.

My brain: It's late, you're tired. Time for bed.
My heart: but then who will fight the Commies on X for the next 6 hours?
All this exchange proves is that neither the Senators for or against this have read it.
This exchange just happened on the Senate floor.
Cornyn: “I don’t understand how the SAVE Act disenfranchises voters.”
Durbin: “Happy to explain. Driver’s licenses don’t qualify under the bill. 50% of Americans don’t have passports.”
Cornyn: “Why not just amend it?”
Durbin: “When’s the last time the Senate actually amended a bill?”
Silence.
The SAVE Act requires passport-level documentation to register to vote.
50% of Americans don’t have a passport.
The people least likely to have passports: the elderly, the poor, rural Americans, young first-time voters.
The people most likely to have passports: wealthy Americans.
This is not voter protection.
This is voter selection.
And when a senator suggested fixing it — his own colleague couldn’t name the last time the Senate amended anything.
That’s the Senate in 2026.
All that and we're all just pissing our lives away doom scrolling.
In order to be born, you needed:
2 parents
4 grandparents
8 great-grandparents
16 second great-grandparents
32 third great-grandparents
64 fourth great-grandparents
128 fifth great-grandparents
256 sixth great-grandparents
512 seventh great-grandparents
1,024 eighth great grandparents
2,048 ninth great-grandparents
For you to be born today from 12 previous generations, you needed a total of 4,094 ancestors over the last 400 years.
Think for a moment:
How many struggles?
How many battles?
How many difficulties?
How much sadness?
How much happiness?
How many love stories?
How many expressions of hope for the future? – did your ancestors have to undergo for you to exist in this present moment...
The reason why the immigration debate has gotten so crazy is b/c a naturalized citizen can be found guilty of providing aide to a terrorist organization and not immediately get de-naturalized and deported and half the country is ok with that.
So many people are remaking this meme that I saw one that was based on Return of the Living Dead but then my timeline did that stupid jump thing and it brought up this one based on Back to the Future.
Hey @grok draw me a picture of a guy wearing:
A hat
Trainers
Cargo shorts
Loud logos and graphics
Ill-fitting clothes
A shirt of a sports team
Flip-flops
Clashing colors and patterns
Beach shorts

I knew this lady that claimed Bigfoot would come into her backyard all the time and that she would have telepathic conversations with it.
The weird thing was (if it wasn't weird already) is that she belonged to a Bigfoot research crew that would go out looking for evidence all the time.
But she never thought to just document the Bigfoot in her back yard.
"These people are so stupid. I almost feel bad for taking advantage of them"
He's not wrong. Everyone complains about their fees and yet they keep buying tickets. So yeah, they're stupid.
Ticketmaster directors were caught bragging in internal messages about 'robbing [fans] blind'
The messages:
• 'These people are so stupid. I almost feel bad for taking advantage of them'
• 'Robbing them blind, baby. That’s how we do it'
• Charging '$50 to park in the grass' and '$60 for closer grass'
They recently reached a deal with the U.S. government to avoid a breakup over allegations of running an illegal monopoly

How many times do we have to see that raising taxes just drives businesses and people away and ends up shrinking revenue before these smooth brains get it?
BREAKING: Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor says the city is “looking at $30 to $40 million deficit” even with 20% property tax increase approved in December. @TribLIVE
Working in the BK concept kitchen has to be the easiest job in the world.
Every new burger is just adding stuff to the Whopper.
Dude walks in, says "put pepper jack cheese on it", then walks out as the suits praise him as a culinary genius.
