The way the College Football season shaped up, the CFP Committee had an opportunity to do the most right thing with the smallest backlash.
Alabama and BYU getting blown out in their conference championship games opened the door to put both Notre Dame and Miami in.
Instead they dropped the ball and punished BYU for losing, didn’t punish Alabama for losing and then flipped Notre Dame and Miami despite neither of them playing a game.
None of it makes sense.
They did the thing that would give them the most backlash just to have 5 SEC teams in the playoff.
That makes everyone question the integrity of the process and rightfully so.

Canceling student loan debt teaches students they can run up the bill and somebody else will pay for it. This is the worst thing that could happen to the entitlement generation. There is no such thing as a free lunch, someone always has to pay for it!
When a “trick” play is run and the QB becomes a blocker, why is it then a personal foul to clean his clock while defeating a block? @NFLOfficiating
Dan Fouts is a disgrace ... Not sure why we allow a QB to run without sliding, then throw a flag when he gets hit. #NewEnglandPatriots

"He's a beast. Period."
What a career for @RobGronkowski. 🙌
Don’t like this trade for the @Browns. After multiple decades they finally have a franchise QB, and they trade their best interior o-lineman?

Great thanks to @patriots HC Bill Belichick for crashing our #Combine set for a second straight year to, once again, lead by example and drop off an extremely generous check for @StJude on behalf of #RunRichRun
Please give what you can at NFL.com/runrichrun
How was that not intentional grounding? In the locker, under pressure, and didn’t get to the line of scrimmage.... #shouldhavebeenasafety
3 wishes for the @NFL :
1) Let DBs play defense again (hand checking/hits over the middle) @LawyerMilloy
2) @NFLDraft moves back to Saturday’s (rounds 1-3), finish on Sunday.
3) #ProBowl moves back to Hawaii & after the #SuperBowl ... today’s matinee was a bore

This @Chiefs drive was an embarrassment for the @NFL & @NFLOfficiating ... phantom PI, then no offensive PI???... Bad!
Aaaand the @NFLOfficiating continues it here giving the Chiefs a 2 minute break when they had no timeouts
