Jon Rahm is reportedly owed $100M+ from LIV Golf, and he's not alone.
Former vendors and contractors remain unpaid, lawsuits are piling up, and Saudi PIF may be on the hook as LIV heads toward a potential bankruptcy filing as soon as next week.

#LIVGolf Indianapolis will be Jon Rahm’s last event with the league as he is set to return to the PGA Tour in a deal reportedly struck in recent weeks.
The criteria for his return are said to include:
- $25 million fine, to be donated to charity
- Will have to do a Koepka-esque apology tour that includes announcing his separation from LIV Golf and a return to “traditional golf”
- Will not be eligible for Signature events unless he plays his way into them, not eligible for sponsors exemptions into these events
Furthermore, Legion XIII General Manager has been working behind the scenes to secure a similar deal for teammate Tyrrell Hatton, but nothing concrete has been agreed on yet.
Though the landscape surrounding LIV Golf has been very tumultuous over the past few months, it’s not expected that this will come as a shock to anyone within LIV Golf, and the prospective lead investment group. They were reportedly informed of his intentions well ahead of the event in Bedminster.

LIV Golf today confirmed that the League's 2026 season finale will celebrate an Indianapolis Champion, the 2026 Season Individual Champion and top three finishers and the 2026 Team Champion at the LIV Golf Indianapolis 2026 Championships.
The four-day stroke play event will take place Aug. 20-23, at The Club at Chatham Hills where 57 players will contend for the Indianapolis individual title and final spots in the League's individual season-long standings. The team competition will count the scores of all four players on each team every day, culminating with one of the 13 teams being crowned the 2026 LIV Golf Team Champion.
With LIV Golf Indianapolis serving as the final event of the season, the previously scheduled Aramco LIV Golf Michigan, originally set for August 27-30, at The Cardinal at Saint John's Resort, will not take place. LIV Golf is grateful to the Pulte Family Foundation for their partnership and support. Additionally, due to unavoidable changes in the entertainment program for LIV Golf Indianapolis, the League informed Thomas Rhett and Disco Lines that their live musical performances will no longer take place. LIV Golf recognizes the disappointment these changes may bring for fans, local stakeholders, Thomas Rhett and Disco Lines, and appreciates the significant time and effort invested by the artists and their teams.
Ticket holders for the Michigan event will receive refunds. While LIV Golf Indianapolis will still offer four incredible days of competition, ticket holders for the event can find more information regarding their options here: events.livgolf.com/indianapo…
