ANGELO BADALAMENTI has passed away. We lose a wonderful artist, a great man. The magician behind Twin Peaks music & many other David Lynch gems. Forever in our memory. Forever in our hearts. Rest in peace, Maestro.

Today also marks 30 years since the release of David Lynch's masterpiece #FireWalkWithMe . I wrote a book about the film that's still out there and still not enough to show how much I love it.

Loved working with David. (He also performed the audiobook of my second novel.) What an extraordinary career. RIP
David Warner. Straw Dogs, The Omen, Time After Time, Time Bandits, Tron, Star Trek, Twin Peaks, and, by many accounts, one of the great Hamlets. Had a brief encounter with him and he was an absolute gentleman. Rest easy, sir. #DavidWarner

This book was such an incredible resource for my podcast—Back to the Double R. Thank you so much. Any plans on doing an oral history on Season 3 (and what happened in that big gap between the two)? – at Seattle, WA

There are things you can't get anywhere, but we dream they can be found in other people. #RIPLennyVonDohlen #LennyVonDohlen #HaroldSmith #TwinPeaks

I’m honored to have announced the revival of the @veraproject’s longest-running underground venue, BLACK LODGE. I think you’ll find the revamped space both wonderful and strange—but mostly just wonderful. This might even be Leland's new go-to spot in Washington. 😉

Happy Birthday to the Real Deal, David Lynch. The first director to believe in me. A true artist who continues to inspire. I’m grateful to call him my friend. Time for a glass of vino tinto, DKL! 🍷 Cheers!

Oh how I love diaries. Laura Palmer’s is an intense read. We discuss on our Twin Peaks rewatch podcast this week.
This week we read and discuss the book “The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer.” We talk about what the diary meant to Laura Palmer, whether it felt “authentic,” and how it changes our view of Twin Peaks as a show.
