Trey Wingo @wingoz joined us this week to help put the Ravens 3-1 start into perspective:
“We’ve learned that when Lamar is healthy, they’re very good! … We always need to take the long view. The important thing right now is that the defense needs to be fixed.”

As the crowd bellowed, “We’re ready, we’re ready for y’all,” they wrote a check the Falcons could not cash as the Ravens meandered down the field.
This masterful drive took 7 minutes off the clock and forced Atlanta to burn both of their timeouts. They were, in fact, not ready!

Tony and Artie’s friendship is proof that even Tony Soprano knows there are some relationships money and intimidation can’t fix.
Their feud gets ugly because Artie isn’t just another guy Tony does business with. He’s an old friend who knew him before the money, the power, and the reputation. That history makes their arguments different. Artie can challenge Tony in ways most people wouldn’t dare, and Tony can’t simply treat him like another subordinate without risking something personal.
What makes their reconciliation so interesting is that neither man is innocent. Tony can be manipulative, and Artie’s pride often gets him into trouble. But beneath all the resentment, there’s still a friendship worth saving.
Sometimes the hardest relationships to repair are the ones where both people know exactly how to hurt each other.
Zoe Saldaña on Graham Norton, dead serious for a second. Started dancing at nine, wanted the pointe shoes and the tutu, dreamed of being a professional ballerina… then had to be honest with herself. The feet just weren’t built for it. No super-arched miracle, no endless years of forcing it.
Selena and the rest of the couch are laughing, but Zoe’s just telling the truth: sometimes the body says no even when the heart is all in. Brutal little reality check in the middle of a comedy show.

The great Norm Macdonald (d. 2021) would have turned 67 today. A true comedian's comedian.
Macdonald never hid his admiration for the legendary Rodney Dangerfield, whom he called his comedy idol. In a 2011 interview, he fondly recalled Dangerfield's 1996 Weekend Update cameo on Saturday Night Live, describing it as one of the highlights of his time on the show. For Macdonald, sharing the desk with his hero was a dream come true.

🚨 MILTON FRIEDMAN PREDICTS FUTURE (1978): Milton said it was due to ignorance and selfishness that American citizens were allowing the Govt to spend themselves into a "Prison State".
Friedman taught when Individual choice is eroded and compliance is automated, personal freedoms quietly slip away.
The Federal Govt is moving toward mandatory in-car "kill switch" and driver-monitoring tech targeted for 2027...
WHAT IS THE END GAME HERE FOR AMERICANS?

He knows he couldn't lie. If he does, he dies.
I always wondered what Angelo meant when he emphasized
"you don't know" what did Russell offer in the deal to save his life. Angelo seemed impressed by the fact.
Joe Pesci's eyes steals the entire scene, which is saying a lot because the acting by these legends here is amazing.
This is what having real power is all about. No need to raise your voice, no need to have your goons punch this guy in the gut, no need for blatant threats. Just be calm and straight forward with the guy. He knows who you are and what you can do. That's enough to straighten him out. Just observing his reactions you know he is already scared.🎬🍿

Corrupt CPS officer gets exposed for her lying and deception by the guy. Watch her ego crumble in real time. Lawsuit currently in progress.
Warrantless raids, manufactured emergencies, and weaponized state power: this is what happens when Child Protective Services operates completely unchecked under color of law.
What you are watching on this doorbell camera is not routine child welfare—l, it is a calculated retaliatory maneuver by Loudoun County Child Protective Services (CPS) and local sheriff’s deputies after a citizen refused to surrender his constitutional rights.
The homeowner, Farzin Yazdani, found himself targeted by an escalating series of malicious, bad-faith reports stemming from a contentious custody feud. The reporting party had already filed fabricated assault accusations against him that local prosecutors ultimately dropped (nolle prossed).
But when direct criminal allegations failed, social services was brought in as a proxy weapon to target his children, including his one-month-old breastfeeding infant, Roxana.
When caseworkers first descended on his residence flanked by armed deputies, they possessed no search warrant, no court order, and no legal authority to breach the threshold.
Yazdani stood firm behind his door, invoking his Fourth Amendment right against warrantless government searches. In response, CPS engaged in blatant bad-faith tactics:
Rather than respecting clear constitutional boundaries, the agency documented a citizen's lawful refusal of warrantless entry as hostile "non-compliance" and an "imminent threat," using his exercise of rights as a pretext to manufacture an emergency.
Within 30 minutes of the initial standoff, Yazdani reached out and offered to let the caseworker visually inspect the infant that very evening, provided she arrived without armed law enforcement. CPS and county officials rejected the offer, went before a magistrate the very next day, and falsely attested under oath that "no less-drastic alternative existed" to physically seizing the children.
The caseworker showed up with an emergency removal order obtained with zero prior notice, deliberately emailing the legal filings to Yazdani's work address just three minutes before knocking on his door, blatantly dodging his civil rights attorney who was actively calling her cell phone on the doorstep.
In their rush to execute the order, authorities forcibly seized a one-month-old nursing baby girl from her mother, Emily, a parent against whom the state had never leveled a single accusation of abuse or neglect.
The state’s manufactured narrative completely collapsed the moment it faced actual judicial scrutiny. Following an exhaustive five-day contested evidentiary hearing, a family court judge dismantled the agency's claims, threw out the emergency removal orders, and ruled that the statutory threshold for state intervention had never been met. Baby Roxana was ordered returned home after eight days in state custody.
The battle, however, is far from over. Rather than letting the misconduct stay hidden behind closed doors, Yazdani has escalated the fight to federal court, filing a 42 U.S.C. § 1983 civil rights lawsuit against the involved Loudoun County deputies and caseworkers for unconstitutional seizure, due process violations, and abuse of state power.
This lawsuit is in progress and we will update once there is a conclusion.
If you ever wondered why they are called trailers.
Movie trailers were originally shown at the very end of films, which is why they are called "trailers".
In the 1910s, promotional previews for upcoming serial chapters and feature films were spliced at the conclusion of the program so they would literally "trail" the main feature. Theater owners quickly noticed a massive flaw in the strategy: the moment the credits rolled and the lights came up, audiences stood up and walked out of the auditorium before the previews even started playing. Exhibitors eventually moved them ahead of the movie, but the name stubbornly stuck.

Phil Leotardo eliminating Doc Santoro is a reminder that in the Mafia, winning a power struggle can be just as dangerous as losing one.
Doc thinks he has secured his position, but Phil isn’t interested in sharing power with someone he sees as an obstacle. What makes the moment so cold is how quickly the politics turn into violence. These men spend their time negotiating, forming alliances, and calculating their next move, but none of those things guarantees safety when someone decides you’re in the way.
Phil’s ambition is wrapped in old-school pride and a deep need to be respected. He doesn’t just want authority; he wants everyone to understand that challenging him has consequences.
The irony is that Doc is playing the same game Phil is playing.
He just discovers too late that Phil is willing to take it further.
🔥 A GREAT LEADER DOESN’T ASK HIS MEN TO FACE A DANGER HE WOULDN’T FACE HIMSELF.
In 12 Strong, Chris Hemsworth’s Captain Mitch Nelson leads his team into enemy territory, where every decision could mean the difference between life and death. Outnumbered and under fire, he teaches a powerful lesson: lead with courage, trust your team, and take responsibility when the stakes are highest.
🐎💥 Nelson proves that leadership isn’t about giving orders from the rear, it’s about standing at the front, carrying the burden, and never abandoning the people who depend on you.
