Don’t listen to them, I love it. Two a month please. Also, no I will not throw out my boxes.

@BackPagePod in Bath with my partner and her parents this weekend and kept zoning out of all the 18th century chat on the walking tour because I was wondering which of the many bagel shops I was passing had been mentioned on the podcast before. Not sure if this is praise or not.

I felt incredibly pandered to by this one, but I couldn't resist it. As a collection of action and stealth mechanics it's uneven, but as a Bond experience it's absolutely fantastic. There's a music cue in this that had me levitating from the couch. theguardian.com/games/2026/m…

@BackPagePod I found Mathew’s “Lord’s Prayer” was side splitting funny!
Don’t let big Sammy put you down!

Loved that MKW Rainbow Road was chosen. Brilliant, emotional track! Loads of other great picks but that was a standout.

One of my few remaining ambitions is to participate in a @BackPagePod draft.
Latest episode is GREAT - about best game levels.
Was hoping to hear a mention of the all-time greatest “bonus stage”.

This was so much fun to record, as usual, and might have our best banter yet, if it's not too arrogant to say so.
If you like my picks, don't forget to vote in the Back Page discord.
If you don't like them, you're dead to me.
New episode! The video game levels draft, featuring @davescarborough and @jellyscare.

Replaying GTA 4 in preparation for an episode of the podcast. Not bad for an 18 year-old game!

This is secretly my favourite episode we do every year - awards feel like an NGamer Christmas issue feature and I love having our pals from the year drop in with their picks. A good reminder of the nice community around the pod.
New episode! The alternative GOTY awards 2025. Best hang. Worst hang. Location that would make a great Hitman level. Worst discourse. Best in-game food. These, and many more!

Lovely boys talking about lovely games...

See mum, playing non-stop games in the 90s wasn’t a waste of time after all!
For the first time ever, a guest won a draft! Congrats @jellyscare.
A tough night at the Castle camp.

I am on this and it was really good fun
New episode! The 16-bit mega draft, featuring @jellyscare and @davescarborough. Who can pick the best games across the SNES, Mega Drive, Neo Geo and Amiga?

These three hour edits are a bit of a bastard to put together, but I think it's a great episode with loads of lived-in enthusiasm for the games of our childhoods.

A @BackPagePod Games Court acquittal-assured find in Oxfam today.

Thanks to @BackPagePod for including #TheKillingStone in their Steam Next Fest podcast. We thoroughly enjoyed your gallant attempt to summarize our Shakespearean novella for "deck-builder sickos."
Spot on observations and great design feedback. Notes were taken.
New episode! We each played 10 or so new games during Steam Next Fest. Some were great, some were nonsense.

Well lads I nearly crashed my car laughing when, out of nowhere @mrbasil_pesto brought up Peanutting. 🤣
What a time to be alive.
