The sunset nine is golf in its purest form. No warmup, no scorecard, sprinting to the cart and swearing you saw it land. Undefeated format, Ben.

One of my absolute favorite versions of golf: the Sunset Sprint Emergency Nine #GolfChat
I've got 1 hour and 4 minutes until sunset. I just teed off. I'm playing a nine-hole course that's about 3,000 yd. I'm walking Will I finish and what will I shoot?

I listen everyday, but don’t forget the print side: @Meghan_Ottolini’s pieces are some of the best in a town full of written opinions 👍👍

Is the virtual measurement necessary? No, it isn't. But is it at least faster than the old method? Also, no.

What an amazing quote.
"Capitalism is the force that drove down the price of almost everything it touched. The state is the force that blew up the price of almost everything it captured. And young people blame the first for the crimes of the second."

Am I the only one completely unfazed and unimpressed by the flying Tesla because of the saturation of AI videos on my timeline? The irony of Elon’s promotion of Grok Image canabalizing potentially his 2nd greatest invention is almost amusing.

On any given Sunday, I would say the Broncos new uniforms are superior to Seattle’s. Not tonight. Seahawks throwbacks are the better uni and it’s not particularly close.

If any of you are following the Georgia roller coaster tragedy news/updates and have questions, I’m happy to answer them. This is one of the few areas I feel comfortably more knowledgeable than most reporting sources and commenters. TL:DR - it’s a horrible tragedy regardless of any investigation findings (as of this post we known almost nothing despite the breathless update articles), but it will probably not dull my enthusiasm for thrill rides. Overall they are incredibly safe so much fun and hopefully something good can come from this sad loss.

Inevitability has run its course. Everyone cheered the “ fairness” of NIL coming to college sports years ago but every negative consequence since has simply been the natural progression of excess.
Friggin gross. I hate what’s happening to this sport.

If Scott Hanson decided to leave RedZone, what hosting gig would you most like to see him snag? Or do we come up with a brand new show idea?

1. Gladiator 2. The Princess Bride 3. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
This is subjective but… Name three PERFCT movies. No argument. No explanation. Just three flicks you think are perfect. I’ll start: 1) Jaws 2) The Godfather II 3) The Empire Strikes Back (That was hard. I wanted to put three more. 😂)

Owl’s Nest Golf with @MidwestGolfJake and @bobbyg603 really hit the spot today, in a way few courses and few other golf partners can. Best day of golf of the year for me and it’s not particularly close…

Today I played my "first love" golf course that was subsequently overhauled after a corporate takeover, sucking all the charm out of the club. It felt exactly like going on a date with the ex you broke up with: you are enticed by all the good memories together at the beginning, but when you show up, you are immediately reminded of all the reasons you broke up and how much they've changed over the years. But then the date continues, the chemistry returns, and you wonder if you could just overlook the changes and bottle up the magic once again and you leave the next morning feeling dirty and conflicted.

I feel blessed to grow up in this area to experience it. Watching the leaves change and playing long after they've fallen is where the gritty golfer is born
