This past season, as part of @MoeAnalytics and @BigMoeBaseball our coaching staff and players used AI to prep for games.
I built the Moeller Game Prep Agent — and we ran it all year long.
Before each game, instead of spending hours manually pulling stats and notes, we just asked it:
- "What does their cleanup hitter struggle with?"
- "Give me a full lineup matchup plan for tonight."
- "What are this pitcher's tendencies with runners on base?"
Instant answers. Detailed scouting reports. Pitcher vs. hitter breakdowns. Coaching tendencies. Three seasons of data, all queryable in plain English.
Sinker is 34% of his mix and gets just 8% whiffs with a .389 xwOBA, while the curve and changeup miss bats. The 11.4% walks and 42.2% zone rate cap him at a 10.4% K-BB, so a swap toward the breaking stuff is the fix.
