I’m learning that the work to organize for liberation can not be external. It has to be internal and flow from those places. #imagine movements where the internal liberation (not so-called freedom or escapism) leads our programs, initiatives, and systems

I didn't know that pastoring could be like this! It is so fulfilling growing food w/my community & being in relationship with Black farmers. In the words of Dr. Katie Cannon, I'm doing the work my soul must have.
On this #Juneteenth "The Sequel" Sunday, Pastor @HeberBrown3 pulled up in his pickup truck & we sold sweet, SEEDED watermelons after service. We are thankful to the Black farmers that helped to make this possible & will continue co-creating Black food systems w/@BlackChurchFSN
