Are you aware that, at various random times during the day and throughout the evening, the Northern Suburbs of CT smells like fire and smoke because the farms along the N7 are burning their shit, which seems unhealthy, scummy and unregulated.
@geordinhl surely you have also smelled it in Edgemead. As an asthma sufferer, it is awful to wake up at 3am with my entire house smelling of smoke and not being able to breathe properly because of this. Ive seen people in Welgelegen and Bothasig also complaining
The game started at 6pm, which is when most people are still in traffic waiting to get in, after leaving work at 5pm. The stadium filled up. The same thing happened in Cape Town. The problem is the schedule, not the people.
Hello @geordinhl I have emailed your office 5 times regarding what I believe to be a serious concern about the @AstronEnergySA refinery in Milnerton but have received absolutely zero responses. Is it because they give the City too much money or is it just that you don't care?
The first email was sent in February 2025, where your office "handed the concern over" to someone else, who didnt respond. When I followed up, they told me that this isnt their concern. Since then I have sent your office 5 follow ups, with no response
@geordinhl I truly believe that this refinery will one day be the cause for a major health issue in the area (the area that YOU have lived in your entire life). @AstronEnergySA is constantly pumping harmful gasses into the air (I currently am struggling to breathe because of it)
