Georgia Tech has a football game on 10/24 That means 50,000 people on campus that day and they’re blocking off streets and needing lots of security on campus. School probably said no, dream don’t want to pay for security and rental, etc either.

The Timberwolves own the Lynx, the Hawks have no affiliation with them and it’s not a preseason game for the Hawks, it’s the home opener.

In 2024 the Timberwolves literally moved their preseason game to a day earlier or later (I don’t remember which) to accommodate the Lynx hosting Game 4….@ATLHawks yall trash for not moving the game for The WNBA Finals
