The third ever state champion in @BVPrep school history is sophomore Jackson Chiappetta, who won a title in the 100-yard butterfly. He joins his sister, Katie, and Bryan Zapata on the Pride's exclusive list. @PhysEdLaskowski

All year long we've shown that Tuesdays are great days for giving and this Tuesday is REALLY GIVING! #GivingTuesday is all about celebrating each and every single act of generosity we have to offer. How will you give today?
ALT It's Quite Literally GivingTuesday! All year long we've shown that Tuesdays are great days for giving and this Tuesday is REALLY GIVING! GivingTuesday is all about celebrating each and every single act of generosity we have to offer. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor out, or showing up for an issue or people we care about, we each have something to contribute. Identify your gifts, pick a cause that gets you fired up, and give back - not just today but every day.

When she was in Kindergarten, they sang a song with the words, "college isn't as far as it seems!" Truer words were never spoken. @BVPrep @larango_bvp @davejose @SHCAnderson
Since our founding in 2009, BVP has been a model of an integrated school system, and we're honored to be recognized for it. With the support of @TCFdotorg’s Bridges Collab, BVP is now the proud recipient of a #FosteringDiverseSchools grant from @usedgov.
We're thrilled to announce that multiple Bridges Collaborative members have won @usedgov grants that will support critical school integration planning and implementation efforts.
The first-of-its-kind program is the direct result of advocacy by @TCFdotorg and @Diverse_Schools.
ALT Congratulations to several TC Bridges Collaborative members and partners for winning landmark school diversity grants from the U.S. Department of Education: • The NYC Department of Education (District 3-Kipp Beyond and District 13-Compass Charter School) • Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools • The Oakland Unified. School District • Rhode Island Mayoral Academy Blackstone Valley Prep • The Maryland State Department of Education
Thank you @dodduri15 for presenting BVP’s work in this area!
My column: There is a RICAS success story, and its students who have recently completed multilingual learning programs. They're outperforming the state average in ELA and just a point behind in math. bostonglobe.com/2023/10/18/m…
