Sheep wee produces urine patches that emit the greenhouse gas, nitrous oxide The UK has over 5.5 million ha of grazed, upland regions where emissions of this gas are uncertain @UplandsN2O aims to increase the accuracy of nitrous oxides emission estimates from these uplands
Reducing nitrogen fertilisers in #argiculture is crucial in lowering greenhouse gas emissions 🍀Clover fixes nitrogen in the air so it doesn't need fertiliser We are looking at the impacts of grass with clover on yield, soil and gas emissions 👉bit.ly/32QWCPo
