Are you wondering how to use public transportation to get from Denver to Boulder? Boulder Chamber Transportation Connections is here to help! Starting at Union Station in Denver, look for the bus terminal, which is actually underground and accessed via these entry points near Chestnut Place or Wewatta Street. Go down the escalator, stairs or elevator and then locate the gate for the FF1(or better yet the FF2 express) bus route to Boulder. Routes and destinations will be listed on the overhead screens with departure times. Wait at the gate until the bus arrives and wait for the signal from the driver before boarding. RTD buses like the Flatiron Flyer are equipped with tap-to-pay fares. Simply tap your phone or card to the reader when boarding. You also have the option to pay in exact change at the fare machine. Your phone or card serves as your ticket for the next three hours, if paying in cash don’t forget to request a transfer if you need one. Once on board, pick your seat, sit back, and relax as you enjoy the ride. The bus stops at multiple stations along Highway 36. In Boulder, you can get off at US 36 & Table Mesa, S. Broadway & Table Mesa, Broadway & Baseline, Broadway & Euclid by the CU campus or the Downtown Boulder Station. Transfer to other buses at the Downtown Boulder Station and check the Transit App for accurate bus arrival times and transfers. Follow Boulder Chamber Transportation Connections for more tips on getting around Boulder.

Long commutes can be very costly for employees and very challenging for employers who are trying to attract and retain talent. That’s where vanwooling comes in. Through Commute with Enterprise, employees can share a ride to work while saving on gas, vehicle maintenance, and enjoying a less hectic work commute. Plus, Commute through Enterprise has great funding through transit agency partners to buy down their rates. To learn more reach out to Sanchez through the email listed in the video or go to commutewithenterprise.com.

What would it mean for you to spend a week without driving? More than a third of the residents of the US are not drivers. People with disabilities, young people, seniors and people who can’t afford cars or gas still need to get places. The Week Without Driving, October 1-8, asks you to learn firsthand about the barriers and challenges that non-drivers face. 🛴🚶‍♂️‍➡️🚌🚲 Rather than taking the car, can you rely on riding the bus, walking, biking/scooting or asking for rides to understand what it takes to get where you need to go without driving? Need more resources? Check our website at bouldertc.org/ or reach out to our team for assistance. Share your experience with us! Learn more at weekwithoutdriving.org/ #WeekWithoutDriving

Happy Autumn! As the days get darker, remember to keep yourself visible out there in your travels. Boulder requires a front white light and a red rear light on bicycles. Always carry a set with you when you ride. If you're walking, reflective or lighter clothing helps. If you're driving, keep an eye out for people, however they are getting around. More illuminating ideas here: liv-cycling.com/global/campa… #LightYourRide #StayVisible #LookoutForOthers
